'This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast had excellent variety and really nice. Room was large with a a separate sitting area. My husband didn’t like that the tv was in the sitting area so he couldn’t lie in bed and watch tv but I was really happy about that! Hot tub on our balcony was a delight. Cocktail bar was fab and was the pub and the food on offer. Loved our stay here'

'Best spa i have ever been to. Been to alot of spa's up the north of england but this one blows them all away, low wood offers a budget and more exclusive packages that suit your needs. All areas were clean to a high standard and the on site resturant and bar are a bonus. Breakfast was more than what most places offer. '

'Great hotel, room with a view of the lake was lovely. Spa was fab though additional payment if £20 person we thought was extreme and not included in the cost of the stay although didn’t deter us using the facilities. work is being carried out at the hotel so there’s lots of work traffic etc in and around the hotel but again this didn’t affect our stay. Food was lovely, and the service was outstanding '

'Spacious, comfortable room situated close to an event we were attending (5-10 minute drive). Room well equipped - brewing facilities are always a big bonus! Breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a good choice of items - some more visible guidance near the toaster would be helpful for those unfamiliar with the make and how it works. The only stressful aspect of the stay was lack of parking space letter on the Saturday evening - unsure where we were allowed to 'overflow' to. Overall...

'Excellant breakfast choice and period of which this was great. Gym facitilities were ok but not all appeared to be in working order. Cleaan pool. Jacuzzi, steam roon and sauna. Grounds were nice and well kept.'
