'The owner greeted us with hot tea, and gave us an upgrade to river view cabins as they were available for our stay. The food prepared by the family at their restaurant was delicious. Ha had many recommendations, suggestions, and options for us to ensure that we enjoyed our time in Phong Nha'

'best part was the information send to i as soon as i booked. you get a pdf on how to get to the lodge. we took the local bus from nga tu ga busstation in Saigon directly to the lodge. super busride, best experience. from the lodge to dalat there is yet again a local bus to dalat at 6:15. food was good, breakfast included, we booked the gibbon trek direvtly with the park. nevertheless, the lodge brought us our breakfast across the river when the trek was over.'

'Gem and Tuon were wonderful and attentive hosts. They were always available to help. They drove us wherever we wanted to go. Unfortunately my boyfriend was sick almost the entire stay (from before we arrived) and they brought us food from their restaurant as he wasn’t able to go out. They were so kind and lovely and we had a great stay. We weren’t able to do too much in the way of excursions because of illness but they had loads of recommendations and tours available to book through them. '

Right by the river, the boat rides to the Phong Nha caves are literally minutes away. Serene and quiet - A Little Leaf provides value for price. The host was remarkable. 'Delicious food for dinner and breakfast. Such a peaceful relaxing stay with a great view. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had a spider in our room but that is expected with the location. The host and their family are so warm and welcoming we would definately return if we are back in that area. '
