'I come to Erie frequently and I stay at multiple hotels in the area of Spark. I have never stayed at Spark. The hotels I normally stay were sold out and so I chose Spark despite it was about $60-$70 more than the hotels I've stayed in that area so I had expectations that it would be on a higher level. Boy was I wrong! It is cheap and I would never stay there EVER again. The positive is the staff was friendly and the room was clean. There was a fridge, no microwave. No coffee maker, not a bucket...

'Bathroom was filled with mold. I had to go to the front desk and ask for it to be cleaned. When I returned it was still there so they gave me gloves and rags to clean it myself. The walls had what looked to be nicotine running down them and dirty handprints. The comforter had dried blood on it. Wall and ceiling had cracks everywhere. Housekeeping needs retrained or a new lineup. Mold is unacceptable. If every hotel wasn’t booked solid when I went I would have went elsewhere. I shouldn’t have to...
