'Excellent room in a quiet area. The room was super clean and had a tropical look to it. For us it was the perfect place to stay after cycling along the Loire. Thanx also to our host Arnaud for preparing a great breakfast. Merci beaucoup!'

'We loved staying here. It was a treat to stay in such a historic building. The hosts were wonderful, so warm and kind. We stayed in the very top suite (l’oisellerie) which involved a lot of stairs, but it was quiet and atmospheric. The bed was amazing, and the continental breakfast with little crepes was very nice. There are excellent restaurants just down the street, and all of the sights are a very short walk away. '

'Fantastische ontvangst door de gastvrouw. Ze gaf me ook verschillende restaurant tips in de regio voor een andere keer (het was een maandagavond en alles was gesloten). Ik mocht mijn afhaalpizza in haar eetzaaltje nuttigen. Heel stil op een heuvel gelegen. Fantastische zichten over wijngaarden en Loire rivier. Super ontbijt. Ik kom zeker terug!'

'The entire team at Markus were fantastic, very supportive and accommodating to all needs. The Markus is centrally located, close to the train station and easy to get around. If our travels take us back through Angers we'll be looking to book here again.'
