'Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Bed was too firm. My wife was uncomfortable and did not sleep well. Room was spacious but quite dark and could stand updating. Toilet is old and flushed poorly, requiring several flushes to “come clean”.'

'Great fast WiFi. Was recently renovated, as it looked updated. Bed was too small for two occupants (smaller than queensize). Though breakfast is included, it's room is too small for the rush hours, so there was no place (and choice of items was a bit on the small side). If you are on your own, and just want a bed with a shower. A good place to stay.'

They offer one free drink and snack in the restaurant at night and a free breakfast. The breakfast was a full buffet and had good food. The staff was friendly and helpful. '

'Flagship Inn is a hidden gem, a bit different from the standard chain franchises, in a good way! The building itself has been there a long time, it's an old-school motel from the glory days of the American "motor inn," I honestly wouldnt have booked if not for the other glowing reviews, but they're very correct! The good: The view!! It's fantastic. the building is horseshoe shaped, so every room has the one, right over the water of Oyster Bay. All else is the good side of what you'd expect...
