'Nice property and cabin'

'We had a great snowy getaway. The cottage and the lake were so peaceful and calm. Just what we needed to unwind before the holidays. Inside had everything we needed from cooking utensils to pots/pans and we were able to try out a local restaurants. The host was very welcoming and answered all of our questions.'

'Wanted to get out of toronto for a few nights before the kids went back to school. Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .'

'We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We liked sitting on the decks, both front and back. These were great places to read a book or just chat. Very peaceful and quiet. We also liked watching the sunsets from the dock and exploring the nearby towns. The cottage itself was well equipped, and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. 'Our family had a great time spending the long weekend at this cottage. We were lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the water. Jamie was very responsive and provided clear direction throughout the weekend. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again with our family in the future.'

'Very clean, comfortable house. Located just off highway 60, and just outside the National Park. Very quiet neighbourhood. Kitchen and bathroom were a bit dated, but clean with lots of kitchen items, and towels respectively. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of information in the house relating to the National Park. And stunning wildlife photos on the walls.'

'What a week! We had the best stay at Methven cottage. A big group of us said goodbye to summer there and it was everything we dreamed of. Sarah and Matt are super friendly and communicative and the cottage is a Canadian summer dream! Can’t recommend enough! We’ll probably be back next year!'

'We stayed with a group of friends and our kids (6 adults, 4 kids). The cottage was clean and well equipped. It's on the Muskoka river and swimming off the dock was a highlight for everyone. The hosts were responsive and helpful for the few questions we had. The only issue we encountered was that the cottage does not have great water pressure, which was challenging from the perspective of having showers, doing dishes, and getting baths organized for the kids. 'Marjan's cottage was perfect from the very first day we checked in! I stayed here with my family including my dog so I'm very happy that this cottage was pet friendly! Marjan had 2 bowls for my pet and even had a wonderful enclosed deck where my dog could play and be safe. The check in process was very easy as Marjan communicated with me in a timely manner and told me what to do to check in as soon as I arrived on her property.
