The photos gave the appearance that it was on the water when in fact the water is simply attractions nearby.
I arrived at the property less than one hour after booking the property. I realize my mistake. I asked to cancel the reservation and they told me that I had to go through Expedia. Expedia called the property to get authorization to cancel the reservation. The property manager, refused to give them authorization to cancel my reservation so I could book at another Marriott property on the beach.
As a result, I have spent my last dollar with Marriott despite having spent over $10,000 at Marriott properties in the past 12 months.
If you want to be near Pier Park and all the shopping then this is a great property.
Just know that there is a lot of road construction around the property so it’s not exactly convenient at the moment.
