Welcome to Oro.
Boutique, private, fully self contained accomodation set within an old tobacco barn. Situated just 20 minutes from Bright, this masterpiece of Australian landscape is cradled by mountains, Happy Valley Creek and 20 acres of delightful farmland. Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.
The space
Enter Oro through the tiled mudroom. Here you can hang your jackets & pop your boots on the boot rack. If you haven't already taken a peek from the verandah before entering, now is the time to take a long, deep breath as you enter into the kitchen & living area to discover the beautiful outlook that awaits!

Sunlight streams through French doors to the generous living space with comfortable sofas, Starlink WiFi, TV, puzzles & games.

Two bedrooms accommodate up to 4 guests; both with verandah access, underfloor heated ensuites, beautiful bedlinen, blockout window coverings to ensure that sleep in you may be longing for and restful views from both bedrooms when you feel ready to draw back the curtains & face the day!

1 queen bed
1 king bed. We are happy to reconfigure the king room to 2 long singles if requested at time of booking.


In all seasons, be enticed out to the wrap around verandah & those views! Gather at the bbq and outdoor dining, or take a book & while away the hours on the outdoor lounges. You might find you have the company of grazing sheep & lambs!

If you find you choose to stay put rather than venture out for meals, the well equipped kitchen ensures you have crockery, utensils, glassware, serving, baking & cookware whilst being appointed with Integrated dishwasher, top mount fridge/freezer, microwave, nespresso machine, kettle, toaster & sandwich press.

Central heating, wood burner, air-conditioning, living room ceiling mounted fan & ensuite underfloor heating ensure year round comfort.

Internal laundry with Bosch front load washing machine and heat pump dryer.


Guest access:
Enter through the front gates.

Drive 70m down the driveway.

Veer left and follow the low roped drive between the large cypress trees and the old tobacco kilns for about 50m.

Enter through the farm gate.

Once through the gate, Oro is nestled on the right.

Park between the stand of trees with the low-roped boundary.

The timber steps take you to the front door of Oro.
