'Exceptional hotel! When we checked in, the staff welcomed us (and our dogs) with cookies and dog treats. Later that evening, the manager hosted a free taco dinner. Our room had a super comfy king-size bed, a huge TV with lots of channels, a spacious desk and reclining chair to do some work on the laptop, a K-cup coffee maker and fridge, and quality, lemon-scented shampoo and soap. 'We were very happy with the accommodations at High Frontier. The bunkroom was spacious and well stocked. The outdoor scenery was fantastic. We spent the first night staring into the dark skies looking at the stars. The location is close to Fort Davis, Marfa and Alpine (within 25 miles). A great place to be "home base" for the area. We definitely recommend for your next vacation spot.'
