'We had a nice stay in this hotel. The location in the middle of the coffee fields was unique. Although the service in the restaurant was a bit slow we were served fantastic food. The tenderloin steak was the best. Beatifully appointed large rooms, enough to sleep the four of us. We would have loved to join the coffee tour but apparently the last one leaves at 14.00 hrs. All in all we would definitely stay here again.'

'Boquete Cloud Forest Lodge is one of the most beautiful places on earth! The owner is one of the most fascinating people you’ll ever meet, and we enjoyed our meals with him. The two gentlemen who operate the lodge are amazing. The cabins are stunning, right out of an architecture magazine! Our family slept soundly, and the views of the volcano and surrounding clouded forest was breathtaking. We went on a local hike that has been cleared by the owner, and we saw a Quetzal very near the lodge,...

'Credit Card was skimmed at the Marina Hotel/restaurant. Only used this particular card in one place during my days in Panama...at check-in, and to pay for a pizza at the restaurant. Had unauthorized charges less than 3 hours later.'

'I made reservations the night before at 5:50 pm and when I tried calling the front desk after 6:00 NO ONE picked up. I called from 5:50 pm until 11 pm and no one picked up.
I sent an email to the property.
Had EXPEDIA try and they couldn’t get them either- they were no help.
We had to stay elsewhere and make reservations elsewhere that were more expensive. Someone called the next day after 10 am! It was too late. It took a while but I got refunded.'

'Excellent choice for your stay in Volcan. I stayed for 2 nights as solo traveler. Great staff and management. Everyone was helpful and friendly.
Volcan is a great base for exploring Cerro Punto region for a day or 2.

'A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. Freshly caught lobsters and seafood, and the best gourmet breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owners. We shared laughs, stories, and karaoke in the evenings with other guests. They also coordinate tours and other activities on the beaches and surrounding islands. Also I recommend this wonderful place for a Pilates retreat - Yoga - Family reunion promotion, etc.'

'Breakfast was adequate. This older hotel has only 16 rooms, two with balconies. We stayed two nights in the balcony suite with king bed and a lovely view of the garden and river. Note: first floor rooms will carry noise from guests above you. Best room is 208 or any of the smaller rooms on the second floor.'
