"We were very disappointed that the af did not properly explain the property The bathrooms and showers were more than 200ft away from our cottage. There was no running water at all in our cottage, as well as not hot running water in the bathrooms only in the shower. The pathways to the cottages were slippery and not at all well lit The hot tub cover was too big for our hot tub and made it very difficult and dangerous to walk by to the bathroom as well as not well lit. "The owner of this property must use google translator as most of the messages he sent me made no sense. This then made it difficult to understand the check in process. Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. Two bicycles are provided for use so I would hop on after dinner and explore the beautiful countryside. The property is spacious for two adults and very clean and comfortable. "Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos abgebildet mit allem was man braucht. Allerdings war es für unsere Bedürfnisse nicht geeignet. Wir 3 Erwachsene 67-73 Jahre war es sehr schwierig die steile Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern hinaufzugehen. Wenn man körperlich beeinträchtigt ist sehr schwierig. Der Garten ist super schön und sehr groß, eignet sich für Familie/ Kinder/ Hunde. Es war schade, dass man in der Anlage nichts kaufen konnte (Brötchen usw.). Zum Einkaufen sind wir nach Lemmer ca. 9,5km gefahren...

"Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch ist man auch mal schnell zu Fuß in der Ortsmitte, um Erledigungen zu machen oder gemütlich eine Tasse Kaffee zu trinken. Das Haus ist toll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Es gibt sogar einen richtigen Backofen, wie man es aus DE kennt. :-) Marco ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Vermieter und hat sich immer wieder nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundigt oder uns...

"Wir hatten wunderschöne 7 Tage und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Alles war so unkompliziert und super netten Kontakt gehabt. Klar, ein Boot muss noch extra dazu gebucht werden, dass könnte auch im Haus mit inklusive sein, zumal man das Haus nur über Wasser erreichen kann aber es war auch sehr unkompliziert in Grou eins zu mieten für die Woche, da gibt es genug Boote. Das Haus war sehr sauber und der Ausblick in alle 4 Himmelsrichtungen ist Fantastisch. Schöne Bootstouren gemacht...

"The hotel is close the Leeuwarden railway station so very convenient if arriving by train. It’s a largish hotel, staff are pleasant and helpful. If staying more than one night they don’t service the room unless you ask. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast at the hotel is good."
