Blokhutten in Ottawa - Zuidoost-Ontario

'Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. '

'Took my family here for a much needed getaway for my postpartum wife. It was perfect. Having the river directly behind the cabin was amazing for the view and swimming (great fishing too), it was closer than I expected and the waterfall nearby was such a nice ambient sound. Buddy the dog was the first dog I’ve seen mine really bond with and take a liking to in years, he’s super friendly on his odd travels around the property. 'Our stay was short but amazing! The cabin is beautiful and sits on a very peaceful pond. It was extremely cleaned, the outhouse was also very clean. The groomed trails were great for our dog and us as they were well maintained woth different paths to choose from. We got to enjoy nature and quietness! Highly recommend!'

'The cabin and the environment was charming, completely disconnected and the neighbors are birds and fireflies !Davidson was super welcoming, invited us to take fresh eggs from the coop and was responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.'

'This property is unique, with a sona, an outhouse and an outdoor shower with no door. We were more than surprised. The cabin has no power, no fridge, no stove. It has a BBQ with a burner. So it's a off the grid retreat and it should be included in their ad.'
