My only complaint was a roach in the spare bedroom, we only found one but Iâm always worried there are more. Otherwise it was a great location, beautiful view, short walk to the beach and wasnât overly crowded. We had to leave early for a family emergency so I wish I couldâve enjoyed it for more than what I did.
The specific condo we stayed in was out dated and needs a lot of work. I know that complex was built in the 80's but the lack of taking care of the unit was horrible. The ac unit was struggling and making noises due to the filter being completely clogged up. Tile broken on the floor, parts of the ceiling coming off, mildew on the shower curtain. We couldn't even watch the tv if we wanted to unless we bought batteries for the remotes.
For the most part the condo was functional and did what we needed it to do. There was an attempt of âupdatingâ noticed by gray paint on walls, white trim and âstickerâ backsplash in kitchen. The furniture is worn not in a good way. And 3 remotes for each tv?! With wires just hanging down. I did not feel like I was on vacation but more like a college apartment. There was no attempt of decorating and making it feel comfortable. Bathroom needs updating especially shower. The king size bed was comfortable so that was a plus. Like said before, the condo was functional just very âblahâ.
The rooms were not very clean. Two of the four chairs on the deck were broken. The towel rack was not attached to the wall. And all the outlets in the 2nd bedroom and the dining roombwere so loose nothing would stay plugged in. We had to call and get our code to the front door changed four times because it would only work for one day. We called hosteeva which is who we rented through(Hotels.com) and they thanked us for letting them know so they could correct the problems so it would be better for future visitors! Never offered us anything
