Above the Trees | A Modern Ozark Cabin Retreat

Imagine waking up in a cozy king bed, tucked beneath soft Quince linen sheets and a plush duvet, as the first light of morning paints the sky in breathtaking gradients of color. From your loft bedroom, the forest canopy stretches toward distant mountain views, and for a moment, there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Pull the covers a little closer. Settle into the lounge chair with the Roku TV on, or simply lie still and watch the sunrise unfold. With a convenient half bath right on the loft level, there’s no need to rush downstairs just yet.

Eventually, the promise of coffee calls.

Make your way into the open-concept living area, where soaring ceilings and the warm glow of the electric fireplace set the tone for a slow morning. At your dedicated coffee nook, choose between a Nespresso or French press, with syrups, cream, and sugar ready if you need them. But with a view like this, perhaps the simplest cup is the best one.

Take a moment to appreciate the thoughtfully designed kitchen, featuring a charming Forno range and oven, a classic refrigerator, and everything you need to prepare a memorable meal. Whether you're making a slow breakfast or cooking dinner for everyone, this is a kitchen designed to make time together feel special.

If you're traveling with family or friends, the main-level bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed and a dedicated workspace, giving everyone room to settle in. Its ensuite bathroom feels like its own little luxury, with a beautifully tiled shower, rainfall showerhead, handheld wand, and a heated toilet with bidet.

But the morning is too beautiful to spend entirely indoors.

Pour another cup and step onto the deck. Breathe in the fresh Ozark air as sunlight filters through the trees and the landscape comes alive around you. Enjoy breakfast outside, gather around the expandable indoor dining table for a home-cooked meal, or settle into the outdoor lounge seating around the fire pit table. It's the kind of setting where conversations linger, laughter comes easily, and nobody seems to mind losing track of time.

    A Little More Adventure Downstairs

When you're ready for a change of pace, head downstairs. You'll find an entirely different side of the cabin, designed for a little friendly competition, family fun, and well-deserved relaxation.

The game room invites everyone to join in, whether you're challenging someone to air hockey, taking a swing at the golf arcade game, or gathering around the table for a favorite board game. With a queen pullout sofa and twin bunk beds, the lower level also offers additional sleeping space for your group.

After a day exploring the Ozarks or enjoying the nearby lake, step out onto the covered lower-level patio. Slip into the hot tub and let the warm water melt away the day's adventures. Just beyond, discover the cabin's unique 8-by-20-foot container swimming pool, surrounded by a composite deck. Its four-foot lounging ledge offers a place to cool off, sit back in the water, and enjoy time together on warm afternoons.

A second full bathroom downstairs makes it easy for everyone to freshen up, while the washer and dryer take care of the practical details of vacation life.

But perhaps the most unexpected discovery is waiting just around the corner.

    Your Own Japanese-Inspired Sanctuary

Inspired by the calm and intentional simplicity of Japanese design, the dedicated relaxation room offers a quieter kind of escape.

Settle into the massage chair and let yourself unwind, or step into the red-light sauna for a peaceful pause from the outside world. It's your invitation to slow down, disconnect from the everyday, and make a little time for yourself.

Whether you've spent the day hiking, swimming, exploring the lake, or simply enjoying the cabin, this thoughtfully curated space gives your stay another layer of comfort and tranquility.

    When the Sun Goes Down

As evening settles over the trees, gather outside around the fire pit table, enjoy a soak in the hot tub beneath the night sky, or bring everyone together for one more round of games downstairs.

Share stories over dinner. Watch the glow of the fire. Let the kids play a little longer. Then retreat to the comfort of your own space as the quiet of the Ozarks settles in around you.

When morning arrives, the forest will still be there. The coffee will be waiting. And from your king bed above the treetops, another sunrise will invite you to begin again.

**Come for the views. Stay for the experience. Leave with memories worth returning for.**
