« Clean, friendly staff. Pool and hot tub need a little maintenance »

« The hotel appeared grossly understaffed. We tried to check into our room in the evening, and it was not ready. The hotel room was filthy. The carpet in the hallways were filthy. My wife put on a brand new pair of socks, and collected dirt on the bottoms while walking in her socks within our room. The TV did not work due to the modem missing its power cord. Sad to give this review, since this hotel is within a smaller community, but was just shocking. »

« We ended up cancelling our reservations and finding another hotel in town. The property did not match the pictures. We pulled up and by the look of the outside, we didn't even need to go inside. There were no other cars there and we could see why. »

« We were in DeSmet for my grandmothers funeral. This space made us feel like we were at home. It was nice and quiet. Had everything we needed. We have been staying in Brookings the past few times we’ve visited family because we don’t care for the hotel in town. But this is a game changer for us and we will definitely be booking again!! »
