This 3/2, 1510 sq ft home has something for everyone! Need a place to put your boat? The covered dock fits an 18 ft boat or put a larger boat on the outside of the dock. Need a place to fish? The covered dock or backyard is always open. Need access to Lake Okeechobee? Drive your boat to the Lake in less than 10 minutes. Need a refreshing swim? Jump into the in-ground, 14x28 pool. Need a place for the kids to play? Let them romp in the backyard. Need a place for cornhole or badminton? Lots of places to set up the game. Need a relaxing place to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs? Sit in the large, 14x30 screened-in patio overlooking the canal. Need food? Publix and Winn Dixie are less than 2 miles away. (Restaurants are all within 3-5 miles.) Need to shop? Walmart, Bells outlet, Goodwill, Marshalls, etc. are down the street. Need anything else? Just let us know.

Fishing getaway

This is our 3rd time staying at this property. The home is always clean and well equipped. Pool is well maintained . It is so nice to have after a long hot day of fishing. The boat dock is great to have for our boat. The grandkids love the fishing deck. Mrs. Barb is an excellent host. She is always easy to communicate with. She has a nice surprise delivered on day of check in. It is greatly appreciated. We will definitely be staying again. Great place to stay for fishing the canals and lake. Thanks again

The home was great except, being a fisherman there wasn't a fish cleaning station on the dock. The pool was advertised as having a screen enclosure. Trip was shorter then expected.

Okachobee Lake Getaway

This property was very nice. Had a great pool and a dock to park our boats at. We fished and hung out at the dock. Took about 15 minutes to get to tge lake by boat. We were all very comfortable there and the offsite owner was very nice. We hoghly recommend this place for a fishing adventure!!!

Owner needs to do some work.

We recived no check-in message from the owner. There was no message stating where the key would be placed. I tried to call the owner twice and I left a voicemail. I never recived a call back. I was talking with a Vrbo agent when one of my daughters happened to find the hidden key. We would have had to spend money on a hotel since we could not get ahold of the owner. Upon entering the home it was very dirty. Window unit is filty. Ants crawling all over the counter and floor in kitchen. Vent for furnace filter is filthy. Windows in bedroom had to be covered by towels because there are no blinds. Skimmed the pool and once the kids got in, the dirt kicked up and was so cloudy. Daughter then scraped her head on the pool and had to go to the emergency room to get staples. There was a lizard in the bathroom and a cockroach in the smaller bedroom. The light in the main bedroom is hanging b the wires so we did not run the ceiling fan. Definitely a huge fire hazard. This place needs to be off Vrbo until some serious works gets done.

Best VRBO stay ever

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The property was everything described and more. The owners thought of everything. The property was clean, maintained, very well supplied, and in a friendly community with access to anything you might decide you needed within 10 minutes. We really needed a getaway from life stress, and found it here. The owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating before and during our stay. Would recommend for adults or families 100%.

Spacious home

The owners are very responsive. Anything we needed they promptly responded and resolved. The 2 bedrooms are very large, one has bunl beds in it with another large pull out bed in living area. Lots of different areas to hang out with family. The pool was plenty big for our size family. Some pool toys available and we also bought some extras at the local dollar store. Everyone loved sitting and fishing off the covered dock. The owners left lots of snacks and goodies for the family which was super sweet. We would definitely stay again

Super cute place with an awesome host!

The place was wonderful! Very clean and our host brought us a bundle of groceries. Nice romantic setting, though would also be ideal for a family with kids as it was spacious. Comfortable bed. Overall 5 star experience!

Fishing Vacation

Barb, our host is awesome. When we arrived we were met by a delivery of groceries, fruit, snacks for the kids, water. That was a pleasant surprise. This is our second stay at Taylor Creek. We will definitely come back again. There have been some improvements made to the property since our first visit. There were 5 adults and 2 children. We had ample room for all. The home had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing we missed was the fish cleaning station that was on the dock for our first trip. Nice place, great host

This property was very quaint and nice. It was clean and very well appointed. The snacks waiting at the front door were a very nice touch. Made us feel at home without an immediate trip to the store. There were a few quirky / negatives. First, the pool is very nice but is not heated. We were there in late April and specifically searched for a house with a pool but it was simply too cold for us to want to swim. Others may be fine. Another big plus for us when choosing this house was that it had two king beds. There were two couples in our party and that sleeping configuration was important to us. The downside was that the second king room was a converted porch area off of the living room and it had glass doors with no curtains so there was zero privacy in that bedroom and the mattress on that king was exceptionally hard. All in all it was a very nice property. Brand new deck and plenty of fishing gear as well as patio furniture to enjoy the space. Would definitely rent again.

Winter vacation

Very nice area and quite, we had family for 4 days, young adults fished , rest of time just hubby and I relaxing, first year we took 2 weeks of for a FL vacation. This place was very relaxing, just rode motorcycles on back rides, perfect area, if you don’t want to be near the big busy areas in FL., if you like night life , this area is not for you! Very relaxing area

We loved this place! It was our first experience with VRB0 and it exceeded our expectations. There have been updates to the exterior that made it even better than the photos. The house is very spacious and well equipped. It isn't fancy but it has everything you need. The host was very easy to deal with. The covered dock area was just beautiful and we fished with the fishing poles that were supplied. The chairs at the dock were very comfortable and it was very peacefull watching the pelicans, herons, turtles and other birds. The beds and bedding were not plush but were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked,as were the bathrooms, towels, bedding. There is just one tv in the hiuse, in the living room, but it was very big and crystal clear. Just a note, that thr pool is no longer covered and doesnt have the slide anymore. But the liner and fencing looks brand new and it was very clean. We didnt use it though, as we didnt have time and it isnt heated. The beehive play structure in the photos is also not there. The only thing lacking in the house were mirrors (none in the 2 bedrooms, or out in the living area, and no clocks in the 2 bedrooms or living room, and no magnifying mirror, but who needs mirrrors and clocks on vacation anyway!! Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would book again in a hearbeat!

Guys fishing trip

Can’t wait to come back!

This was the perfect vacation! Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) we could need was provided for us with the stay. Barbara even provided a snack basket just for us. She was quick to respond with any questions/needs we had. Truly the perfect spot for a quiet family vacation. We loved the added bonus of the pool and the covered dock on the canal for the kids to fish from was a very popular spot. We are already looking into dates due next year!

The unit was as described online and fit our needs perfectly. The thoughtfulness of extra toiletries that may have been forgotten and the dish full of snacks waiting on the table was a great touch. There were small issues that we could easily address and discussed with Barbara afterwards for her information. We would defiantly rent here again should the need arise.
