« Nice smaller cabins for comfortable getaway right on the water. Close to everything, but yet feel your out of town. Hosts were wonderful and provided great information before check in. This was our 2nd stay and first with this host. We’ll be back again and again! »

« Charming, very clean, well maintained cabin in peaceful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of this cabin with back deck and dock for viewing lake sunsets and night star gazing. Also wonderful area for walks and bike rides around the peninsula the cabin is located on! »

« A few friends and I stayed here for the Birkie weekend and had such a wonderful time! The cabin is modern, cozy and well stocked with anything we could have needed. The beds were also incredibly comfortable! We will certainly be staying here again next time we are in the Hayward area! »

« Stayed for an anniversary weekend & things were very much as described. The space is beautiful & the location is perfect, especially the amount of privacy, which was even more than we'd expected. Eric was helpful & responsive above & beyond our questions & requests, & it really was a wonderful place to spend the weekend. »

« We were a group of 8 women and had absolutely everything we needed. It is a stunning house and the surrounding lake-filled area is beautiful. We had perfect hiking on the nearby Little Siss trails. Since it was April, we didn't go out onto the lake but plan to next time we stay:) »

« Lake Grindstone is a beautiful lake. I kayaked and played off the dock with my Welsh Terrier. That said, the cabin doesn’t make a good first impression as the deck is dirty and in need of a blowing off. The deck would not be safe for small children as there are gaps in the spindles. Could crawl and fall 8-10 feet. Couldn’t close the screen on the deck door off the LR; but was able to get it on the track using a butter knife. Satellite TV didn’t work. « A family owned business, the owner and his family made me feel very welcomed and looked after. It was a perfect place to relax and recharge. »

« Cabin was clean and had the basics. No frills. Thought it would be in and around trees, but it was right out in the open trailer park area. TV was an issue. Was told no Internet, but didn't find that we had Paramount Plus until last morning. We brought our Fire Stick so git done options. Very small shower and beds were not very comfortable. Overall it was more stly what we needed. Thanks »

« We needed place to stay close to an area we were looking to find a camping spot. It had what we needed to accommodate our whole family from toddlers to teens and our family dog. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your little slice of peaceful heaven on earth. »
