Ownership recently changed, staff very professional and courteous at checkin, even while learning new computer program. Clean facility, though ice machine was broken. Unsure if towels were clean due to the tan color, though they were folded nicely. Towels were very cheap quality, more the texture of a shop rag/towel than hotel guest texture
Beds were made with soft, pristine white linens, and were very comfortable. USB ports throughout the room wouldn’t allow charging of cell phones.
We’ve stayed at this hotel before, when the owners and hotel names were different. It was quite confusing making the reservations for the Pacific Sunrise Inn & Suites, but getting a call from the front desk checking on our arrival time and the person said she was calling from the Hotel Mar Vista, then us using the address on the confirmed reservation email to locate the hotel to find it was the old Sweetgrass Hotel the last time we went to Ocean Shores
Parking was sparse - certainly not enough designated hotel parking to allow one car per room.
Ridiculous TV situation. 2 remotes - 1 to power on, 2nd to actually select programs, languages, parental control etc. Instruction card for tv didn’t distinguish which actual remote to use or for what. Instructions stated to select HDMI 1 or 2, yet it didn’t work - had to look behind the tv and found out it was plugged in at HDMI 3. Why 2 remotes? Why not universal? Why not label the remotes?
Checkout was very efficient and quick
