« A perfect getaway to celebrate the holidays! We visited Eagles Rest with my one month shy of 90 year-old mother, and two adult kids. We appreciated the welcoming amenities and meticulously clean and cozy atmosphere! Having two bedrooms on the primary floor was helpful for older guests, and the loft suite was beautifully private! « We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it! »

« I was not made aware that the creek was closed due to drought. I was not made aware that there was a fee to fish in that creek even before it was declared closed due to drought. The trout farm was also closed which i was not made aware of. I would not have added a day to my reservation had I known this. The cabin could use a bigger fridge and softer mattresses but otherwise good. Someone should have made us aware of the stream closure before i added a night but they didnt. »
