Very nice hotel , I had a small double room but it was fine for a single person. Decent en-suite with plenty of towels . Didn’t eat in the evening but breakfast in the morning was superb. Lovely local ingredients . Very friendly and capable staff . I would definitely stay again .

We stayed at the hotel on the occasion of a family dinner. The dinner itself organised and catered by the hotel was first class.. 30 or so guests dining in an 18 century dining room. Our room with four poster was magnificent. Most importantly however every member of staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble .. even with three dogs wandering about and getting into places they shouldn’t! Quite the best hotel experience we have had for many years

Wonderful service. Truly customer focused. Excellent food. A really nice atmosphere. A bit like service used to be. Not all electric, like modern hotels. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Stower Grange. The rooms were clean and had good facilities. The food was good and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Absolutely perfect. Quiet location but easy access to ring road and convenient pubs for evening meals nearby. Very comfortable room and superb breakfast including providing gluten free bread. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Lovely place and SUPERB service
Lovely small hotel. as we took our dog we opted for the dinner, bed n breakfast package which is something I never normally do but so pleased we did. Quaint room, great food and exemplary service. Go for the dinner package as it really was superb. The breakfast was just as good too but they thing which topped it out was service at the Stower Grange. Friendly and attentive but not in your face the staff here have worked out exactly what is required and execute it to a T. Nothing is too much trouble for Tom and his colleagues and I simply cannot fault this place. Keep it up, we'll be back!

Fantastic stay from start to finish. Richard and his staff couldn’t do enough for you and were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful! We chose the dinner, bed and breakfast option and were not disappointed. The quality and freshness of all the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning!

The service and food were great. The evening meal was very good with great service. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing letting the hotel down was lack of a reception, you have to go to the bar and the rooms which are very unspectacular and tired. The shower was electric, so although it worked ok you couldn't really enjoy a proper shower. All the staff were very friendly and professional and there was no supplementary charges at dinner.

IT was a good property, old , and therfore little ammenities. But the atmosphere and the help of the staff was excellent. The food was second to none and therefore enjoyed greatly.

The hotel was well run by extremely efficient and friendly staff who did all they could to make my stay the best experience. Stower Grange had an old world feel about it, elegant and comfortable. I would also like to praise their chef - the food was excellent. No complaints.

Overnight stay
Stayed here as visiting friends in Thorpe Marriott down the road. Lovely and quiet compared to our previous night in the city centre, just the birds cheeping. Stayed in the Thyme room at the top, plenty of room. Breakfast nice and freshly cooked to order. Friendly staff. The hotels needs updating but was full so obviously popular and wouldnt put me off staying there again.
