We loved everything about this condo. The space was perfect for 6 of us. It walked right out to the beach which was beautiful. The neighbors were friendly and helpful too. The condo was very clean and the listing had everything listed as it is. We did have to bring sheets and towels but that was in the listing so it was expected. We would stay again tomorrow if we could.
Loved this property for a WFH girls trip. Perfect space for 3 with two bedrooms (3 beds) and awesome to be able to walk right out onto the beach. Was really awesome to be on the ground floor, had coffee on the porch every morning and wine at the picnic table in the evening! Lots of seaweed on the beach but didnât really bother us, spent lots of time sunbathing and going for quick swims. Shuttle stop to head into PTown right out the front door was perfect. Had to bring our own towels and sheets but felt that the kitchen was well-stocked. Highly recommend for a combo beach/PTown trip, best of both worlds for us.
We enjoyed our time and really liked Provincetown. But I want to share a few things that I was not expecting. First there are no sidewalks anywhere in Truro or Provincetown, which I get because of how old the towns are, but the shuttle to Provincetown is a 10 minute walk from this unit and with no sidewalk, we never ended up taking shuttle to town. If we hadnât had our kids with us we would have. Instead we drove to Provincetown. Be prepared to pay $10-$30 to park in Provincetown at night. Worth it though with great shopping and restaurants. As for the condo, it does not come with sheets or bath towels. Luckily we caught this before arriving and were able to get management to provide them, but it is the first VRBO I have ever booked that doesnât come standard with bedding and towels (even though it is shown in the pictures). This unit also did not have a blow dryer even though it was listed on the site. The location on the beach is great however there is a lot of seaweed and so it made swimming hard for the kids but was still a great view. There was a very musty smell within the unit, almost like water damage but it was tolerable for our three nights. The door is tricky to lock and unlock, even after reading instructions but we finally got it. Another note is there are no grocery stores or convenience stores near by. Come with groceries or a plan. I would come back here, just would have liked to have known all this before coming my first time.
Whenever we travel we always try and find places to stay right on the beach. My mom and dad and husband shared this two bedroom condo comfortably. The view of the ocean was beautiful and the location with parking was great.
The lack of the one star is due to the beach area. In the pictures you only see the sand up towards the condo making the beach look very enjoyable. We love to sit by the water, read and go for walks down the beach. You unfortunately couldnât do that here. Im not sure if it was just the time of the year but the beach was covered in seaweed that smelled really bad. You couldnât step anywhere without stepping on it and the bugs that came with it were awful. We couldnât lay down by the water because the bees and other bugs were all over us, assuming they came from all the seaweed.
But other than that we enjoyed being up at the condo and looking at the ocean from our porch area.
Susan was fantastic. My mother broke her ankle the day after we got there, she was going for a run in town since she couldnât run on the seaweed filled beach. Susan was able to direct us to a local urgent care. We traveled to other beautiful beaches and were able to sit and enjoy gorgeous sunsets.
House was clean and perfect for 2 kids. Beds were pretty comfortable. Right on the sand/water. Very relaxing. Susan was responsive and easy to work with. She even let us stay 2 nights linger than planned. Great location in North Truro, just a few miles from downtown Provincetown. Would definitely stay again!
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The owners are very nice and attentive, if you need them. The condo was very clean and has everything you need from kitchenware to extra pillows. The views from the livingroom and master bedroom are just stunning! We spent every morning on the back porch with our coffee in hand and toes in the sand. The private beach is clean and the water is clear. Our children went swimming in the bay every morning and explored for treasures during low tide.
The area is very quiet and peaceful, a true vacation from city life. No more then ten minutes away is Providencetown where you can eat cheaply or have a fine dinning experience, visit adorable shops, and local markets (Stop and Shop also) as well as spend the day at Raceway Beach where you can watch the most beautiful sunsets and enjoy the seals swimming (also seen from the condo). We can't wait to visit again!
