'The shepherds hut I stayed in for one night was so warm and cosy, it was like staying in a giant wendy house. I would have liked face to face contact with the host, but I guess thats a "sign of the times" Beautiful view of the countryside. '

'Easy to get to, tasty food. Evening staff both fab, morning person not as much. Bedroom and bathroom lovely size and biscuits/tea generous. Slept well, though the radiators were rather hot and I didn’t know how to turn them down.
Evening food delicious but morning breakfast could have been better; toast came out cold. Breakfast is slightly weird in that it’s not a self-serve, you get drinks brought to you from the options you circled on a menu from the previous night.
Parking was easy but...

'I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. Thanks so much guys i know it trueky meant the world to my mum. '

'Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.'
