'Our room was clean but had no furniture other than 2 nightstands a table and 2 chairs. The kitchen was old but clean and a nice surprise. Our room had no view but we loved their large deck that looks over Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by another day. They seemto stay extremely full and getting one of the units with a balcony and view. Next trip to Tahoe we plan to stay there, but will book our room early to get an upstairs balcony overlooking the lake. '

'Ease of check in having done prior authorization was great. Terms and conditions is a little overwhelming, but it is pretty standard language. Loved not having to carry a key around and check in and check out was a breeze. Property communicates great. Pool was a concerning color. Didn’t plan pool use, just looked disturbing from my room. :) '

'The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe is a very impressive property sitting on top of a mountainside in the Northstar resort area about halfway between Truckee and Kings Beach. Service was world class, from the second we arrived until we left all the staff we interacted were very accommodating and were good at anticipating our needs. 'Really enjoyed this stay. Wish the directions for the fireplace were more clear, as we couldn't start it since there were no instructions for a particular part, and there also was no shampoo, which was a bit of a hassle. Other than that, the stay was great. They had a delicious breakfast that they happened to be doing which as really nice and the bedding was very comfortable. Amenities were great. Will be back for sure. '

'Location is great. Property is a little quirky. Rooms are fine, my only complaint is the bathroom. Sink with hardly any space to leave toiletries, and a very plastic showercurtain. Staff was welcoming on arrival. '
