This was a cute and clean place to stay just 3 miles from my dad’s house. There was plenty of space for just my boyfriend and I. Jen is a great host and kept great communication with us anytime we needed something. There are a couple cats that hang outside but they don’t ever go in the house. The pool was warm and nice. Jen even made cotton candy for my cousin’s kids that were over one night. We will stay here again!

Was the perfect little place for us to stay! Short drive to the beach and to a lot of the places we had to go! Very clean and awesome shower pressure! Host had great communication. Bed were comfortable.

Instructions on how to get there were accurate. You are given access to the pool and garden but house is not private as property split between Vrbo and residence. Mini kitchen did have small roaches and we were unable to keep food there. There was a constant smell of someone smoking cigarettes that leaked straight into the unit, night and day.

We forgot to bring the essentials tools for cooking indoors on a three burner free standing stove top ie a spatula to flip our eggs other than than that our stay and location was perfect our needs

Property was not as described. it is listed as an entire home, however half of the home is separated and the owner stays there so the pool is not private nor is the entire stay. We felt so uncomfortable that we could not even use the pool, which was not that clean we we arrived anyways. Very disappointed and would recommend the listing be changed so that buyers are aware.

Only four stars on the accuracy of listings bc it was so much better upon arrival

I LOVED this house. It was so beautiful inside & out. The convenience of having a pool as soon as you open your door was great for the children! It was in a great location! My only recommendation is maybe some more lighting to help the pathway from the driveway to the door but I have absolutely no complaints. Will most definitely stay here next time I’m in North Port!!

Amazing!!!

The place was so clean and organised and the pictures don't do justice it is so cute!! Any issues were minor and not at fault of the host but she was amazing and very communicative. The beds were so dang comfy too. An amazing place to stay with a great host! Highly recommend to anyone searching for a rental

Overall it was a good experience.Access through the yard was inconvenient. It was difficult to drag a cooler and roll suitcases through the yard and over the different paths/substrates that were provided. It rained (Florida :)) so navigating across the front yard, down the length of the house and across the backyard in the rain was difficult and the vegetation along the path was bothersome in the rain as well. Made unloading and loading alot of work.This was my 1st VRBO type rental so I learned what to look for going forward. Pictures were 100% accurate. I personally missed having more seating in the main room so I brought in a chair from the patio deck. Counter space was very limited so making lunches to take with us was possible, but difficult. Fridge was small so we kept items in cooler... again, pics were accurate, my expectations didn't take into account this was not a "home" so all those conveniences were not there, think dorm/hotel. My grandkids (5 & 7) LOVED the toys and the pool. Pool was small, but perfect for the littles so I was able to enjoy the freedom they had in the shallow pool. We had a great time, location was optimal for our planned activities. Neighborhood was quiet with nice parks/playgrounds very close.

Cozy and Peaceful

We loved this place! It had everything we needed plus a pool. The backyard was super peaceful with pretty flowers and places to hang out. Enjoyed the tv and board game options when it was too hot to be outside. Located within a close proximity to restaurants, shops and the warm mineral springs. The host was prompt and personable with her responses to our questions. Highly recommend this stay!

Family Trip

The accommodations were great. Very clean. I didn't realize the property manager was directly connected to the rental. Privacy wasn't what I expected so I didn't make use of the pool. My dogs had anxiety with someone on the premises which seemed to be an issue. I received messages and a call during family dinner. Not happy about that.

Unique Shabby Chic Florida Get Away

Unique property with all amenities in a great neighborhood which is close to restaurants and stores. This is a home which is divided into a duplex. The owner lives on the premises on the other side. She was very sweet to us and respected our privacy. She comes out to water her flowers and check on her cats from time to time. Our accommodations and pool were very clean. We even had a campfire while there. Thank you again Jennifer for sharing your adorable property with us we enjoyed our stay : )

Nice Place - But Hidden Surprises Await

Unfortunately this was the first place we've rented that we had to walk away from. Our observation is based on the two hours we stayed.Before arrival, we had to contact Jennifer for instructions, as none were automatically provided. She responded quickly with clear instructions and helpful photos.Upon arriving, we were disappointed to learn that we needed to wheel our luggage through the dirt and through the side and back yards toward the pool deck area. As we entered the pool deck, we could hear Jennifer and family carrying on a conversation and observed multiple cats loitering about. My kids asked why there was another family here.Soon after, Jennifer was walking around the pool deck and back yard talking on speakerphone. We lowered the shades for privacy and figured out what to do next. This was a little unsettling for a couple of reasons:1. We booked through Vrbo expecting privacy, not a surprise guest—aka the owner walking about the property. Had Jennifer been upfront, we would’ve never booked. Vrbo Support confirmed this was a clear policy violation.2. Had we known the pool deck doubled as a cat lounge, we would’ve booked elsewhere—especially since allergies weren’t part of the vacation plans.3. The backyard may offer privacy from the neighbors, but not from the owner, who seems to think they're part of the amenities.This property is nice, but the owner must be transparent so renters know what they’re in for—assuming Vrbo doesn’t remove it. Good Luck!

Nice and quiet little area, lots of privacy

Great little hide away from hotel scenery. Close to shops and beaches! Would definitely go back. Nice little pool, picnic area complete with fire pit. Has beach chairs and umbrellas too!

Interesting little place

Didn’t realize it was so small but it had a lot of functionality in all space! Suggest some shelves over kitchenette on wall to free up counter space. Should have realized pet friendly might be a problem for my son who is extremely cat allergic. He had to go elsewhere. My grand daughter loved the cats outside. If you don’t mind small space, the place is great. Sheets were super soft.

Really nice set up, and unique private yard (with beautiful kitty's running around) Enjoyed our 3 nights, just wish it had been warmer for a dip in the pool. (Jennifer did offer to heat it to 85.) Air was only in the 60's. Typical Jan in Fla.
