'I like the highland bull and the horse pictures on the wall. I also appreciate that there were television options besides Network TV and commercials. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Because we are asked to separate trash from recyclables, it would be good if the property provided receptacles for recyclables. There was very limited communication between the office and me before I arrived. But then the office emailed me each day, which was excessive. I don't need to be reminded...

'The apartment was very cute and clean and the location is fantastic. The host was super responsive and helpful. A few minor things to note in case they matter to you: the mattress is very soft; the microwave is on a shelf above the refrigerator - there’s a step stool but it can be tricky for things like soup; there’s very little counter space in the kitchen. Other than that the living room is spacious, the couch is full size and very comfortable for watching tv, and the bedroom is light and...

'This property was an incredible find. Clean, cozy, quiet, and beautifully furnished. All the plants made it feel like home. This was the perfect place to call “home” while I was doing some work at the hospital only a few blocks away. It is nicely tucked in a quiet family neighborhood walking distance from parks and restaurants. Antony was a very responsive gracious host who answered any question I had in a timely manner. Loved the off street parking! I will rebook!!'

'Vicky is a wonderful host. The clean apartment is furnished with an eye for details and has a separate bedroom, large bathroom, kitchen and spacious dining room. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed is comfortable. The large deck has a nice view of Portland. The apartment is located in one of the better areas of Portland. It is a 40 minute walk to the center. There is also a bus. In short, everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay close to the city.'

'The hosts answered my questions promptly. The house was stocked with the bare minimum. Only a few small spoons (I have kids) but five or so giant soup spoons. Enough knives and forks. Almost no cooking pots/pans, baking dishes and other kitchen necessities. I was hoping to cook a meal while we were there. We stayed in December. There was not an extra blanket to be found. Only one blanket on each bed. The house itself was adequate. We only stayed for two nights. '
