'We picked up our son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter from the airport shortly after midnight. Our daughter-in-law had extensive surgery in India and the trio had been in India for almost 4 months. The surgery was a success but she is still pretty frail, particularly after the long flight. The clean, quiet house, tub to soak in and nice soft beds were much appreciated. Also, we were new to online booking and our host graciously answered all our questions and helped us through the process.'

'The house was great for our family. It is an older developed neighborhood very close to downtown. We had tons of restaurants, the waterfront and grocery stores nearby. The neighbors were all nice and the houses all have good landscaping. It as a safe area. The house had three comfortable rooms and 2 bathrooms. There were two separate TV living rooms and my boys enjoyed having their own space downstairs.'

'The Fire house was such a fun, interesting and relaxing place to stay! Not only was the place full of character and charm, it was equally comfortable and welcoming. The place is much bigger than I anticipated when seeing it online. I was so impressed with the history and the decorations really help round out the story. 'Clean, cozy home with comfortable beds!'

'We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this oasis. Beautiful yard and gardens from the panoramic window view into the private backyard. After a day of hiking various trails, we often enjoyed our evening meal sitting on the patio. Completely updated kitchen with all amenities! Very comfortable king-size bed in a spacious bedroom. Great signage/instructions throughout (wifi, fireplace instructions, etc). If we are ever back in the Portland area, this is where we will be staying!'

'Lovely stay. The garden was wonderful. We could just sit and enjoy. Barbur world market is a short walk away with wonderful food. Near a busy street but you never hear it'

'Vicky is a wonderful host. The clean apartment is furnished with an eye for details and has a separate bedroom, large bathroom, kitchen and spacious dining room. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed is comfortable. The large deck has a nice view of Portland. The apartment is located in one of the better areas of Portland. It is a 40 minute walk to the center. There is also a bus. In short, everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay close to the city.'

'We needed somewhere to stay while in town for a funeral, and this place was great. It was clean, well-decorated, with a lovely outside area. The check-in process was super clear and overall everything was lovely! It was very spacious for my partner and I, along with his Aunt and Grandmother.'
