Condo is beautiful! Pictures make it look bigger than it actually is but still great. It was just me and my husband and I think it would be crowded with 8 people
 but if you are out and about during the day you wouldn’t notice.Well worth the money!

Beautiful Ocean & Pool View

We loved our time here! The balcony view is gorgeous as you can enjoy a wide view of the ocean as well as the entire pool. The new furniture, flooring, and decor are beautiful and it was very clean. Customer Service was excellent. The fitness center on the 14th floor was convenient and provided plenty of equipment. Staff was friendly, beach chairs and umbrella rental was convenient, and the pool bar/restaurant was excellent. Italian Ice carts and banana boat rentals were nearby on the beach. The pools and hot tubs were clean and parking was easy. The third floor restaurant was excellent. Plan to get your own ice because this ice maker freezes up. Towels are provided for the pool. We highly recommend!!

Room was not cleaned prior to us receiving a text that the room was ready. That led to us cheking in after 4pm, which the listing says check in is at 4pm. Ice machine in freezer was broken. We were told part were on order. They did bring us 2 bags of ice. Curtains were broken and would not close all the way. Leather couch in living room was torn and needs to be updated. Love the resort, but would not stay at this condo again.

Fantastic North Myrtle Resort style condo

We absolutely loved our experience at Windy Hill! The condo was gorgeous, the view spectacular. The resort style pool was beautiful and a lot of fun. Beach there was great. We loved that you could walk to Barefoot Landing for restaurants, shops, bars. We did have some issues with minor things that were supposed to be in the condo on arrival and were not, so housekeeping was a small issue but nothing to change our opinion about the experience. We would definitely return.

North tower unit #408

We enjoyed our stay at this 3 BR condo very much. I was hesitant to book, as some of the reviews listed this unit as dirty upon arrival, but it was very clean and well appointed when we arrived. It had everything we needed and the view of the pool/ocean was awesome. Super easy to park in the parking garage on the 4th floor and enter the unit from there. Only slight problem was that ice maker was broken....we reported via text as instructed and no one ever responded. No problem as we just purchased a bag of ice and were good to go. I would stay at this unit again, and recommend for families.

Recent stay

The villa and property is absolutely beautiful. The maintenance number you are supposed to text for concerns are absolutely horrible. They don’t reply and aren’t helpful. The hot water was turned off during our stay and they refuse to offer any kind of compensation. Also, upon arrival, there was old trash left from previous guests that was molded and stink. I wish they had better customer service communication.

Great Place

The location was lovely. No issues with the check in or check out. Was not clear on check out time, for VRBO said 11an but package indicated 10am. Now, there was a leak coming from the floor in the Master bedroom. Maintenance came twice and advised us other units also had leaks. This was distracting and messy because the whole MB closet floor was soaked. I would suggest more advanced televisions for many travelers have apps that cannot be cast to the tvs or at least the ones on our rental. Lovely vacation though. Beautiful view from the room. Thanks for allowing us to vacation there.

We love staying at North Beach Resorts. We have stayed a few times here. This condo had everything we needed, was clean, and great location. Carpets need updated, but overall great condo.

Nice resort; okay property

This was our first time staying at this particular resort. The resort facilities were very nice. Proximity to the beach was perfect The resort staff was very friendly. The property that we stayed in for the week was not as clean as we had expected. When we arrived we ended up vacuuming the carpets; none of the dishes seemed to be clean to the point we ended up washing what we needed. Underneath the beds don’t seem to have been vacuumed for a long time. We dropped a remote that had to be retrieved from under the bed which is how that got noticed The angles of the photos on the website made the rooms look larger than they were. We may stay at the resort again but won’t stay at the property again.

Not my best experience for the price


Upon making this reservation I did not realize the limitations of checking in or out and had I known them I would have most likely made a different decision. Church-in was between 4 to 4:30 PM, which I barely made due to graduation changes. Upon receiving my package I am told I must return everything in the package, which is fine and completely understandable. However, when I explained I only needed one parking pass instead of 4 I was told I could just throw those away, but you just said I would be charged if I didn’t return them
 That’s confusing! When I made the reservation all documentation said the checkout time was at 11 AM. When I checked in the woman was not the kindness customer service agent I have ever dealt with but nevertheless says our package must be returned to the drop box before 10:15 AM for checkout, which puts me leaving the property by 10 AM and that was earlier than I planned. I looked on your iTrip website that said checkout was at 10:30 AM. It was just confusing and I do not like that the checkout time changed upon my arrival after I complied with your short window for check-in requirements. You had your package and I was “checked out” by 9:15 AM. I can say that the air conditioning repair guy, Matthew, was great. We got to the unit and the air did not work at all. We waited over two hours for his arrival but thankfully there was a breeze on the balcony although you cannot hear the doorbell from the balcony so I had to stay in the hot condo awaiting his arrival. It would have been nice to have been told to use the beach access because if you walk through the pool area, even with your green bracelet for pool access, with your beach accessories then you will be stopped, embarrassed, and redirected. Also, it would be nice to tell those staying with you what to do with trash. We cooked a little so we filled a back of trash. I asked a room service attendant what I should do with the bag because I saw her in the hallway. She asked my room number, which I told her, but they never came to grab it. In thinking of that, it would be nice to tell people they need to bring dish soap, dishwasher pods or powder, and clothes washing supplies if they plan to use those amenities. Also, bring your own trash bags. That way they will not be running to the store multiple times like we had to do. I went to use a wine glass only to find it had lipstick on it. Gross! 2 hrs before leaving the ice maker stopped working. We did not use it with access.

Excellent checkin process!

I have stayed at this property before, using their onsite checkin office which was hideous, and I swore to never stay here again. My brother spotted this unit online, not using the onsite office, so I agreed to try one more time. Easy booking, great communication by email and phone, fastest checkin/pickup keys process in history, and everything worked perfectly. Super clean and nicely decorated unit, all appliances worked well, pool maintenance is excellent!

Overall, the unit was beautiful with new furniture and lovely views. It was tastefully decorated and had a fully stocked kitchen. There was plenty of space in the Unit and the property had attractive and well maintained amenities. The only disappointment was the internet service. The WiFisignal was weak and would not support the steaming of sporting events
