« Great place to stay for a few days. Note that the water access is a few minute walk across the road but the lake is quite nice. We couldn't get the gas fireplace turned on but we also didn't ask for assistance with it as we really didn't need it and were only there for two nights. We did have a fire in the firepit outside which was really nice. »

« This property is currently under new management and really needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard, particularly for the price they're charging, the accommodation was not adequate and poor value for money spent. « Very nice little cabin set among tall pine trees. Great home base for people taking the whitewater courses at Paddler’s Co-op in Palmer Rapids. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook. All is very clean and works well. The hosts live on the farm and have very nice eggs for sale. We bought some and promptly forgot them in the fridge, of course. :-) For the athletes, road cycling in this area would be awesome. Great surfaces and wide shoulders. I am thinking of doing some...
