Charming Chatham Cottage!


Built in 1920, Lucy's Cottage is located in a quiet and prestigious North Chatham neighborhood and an easy stroll to three town landings - Scatteree (.2 miles), Cotchpinicut (.4), Cow Yard (.7).

The property is 1.4 miles to Chatham Bars Inn and 3.8 miles to the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. Main Street and Lighthouse Beach are within biking distance. It's location is central to explore the wider Cape, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

Lucy’s Cottage is a spacious 2600 sq ft home with central A/C. The oversized separate lounge room is the perfect indoor gathering space for family and friends with a 13 ft (fully extended) dining table that comfortably seats 10 and includes sofas and a large TV.

The family room off the kitchen is a second living area that offers a more intimate space including a cozy window seat with distant seasonal ocean views. A selection of books, puzzles and board games can be found in this room and are available for your enjoyment.

The well-stocked kitchen features two Thermador ovens, lobster pots and everything you’ll need for perfect entertaining on summer nights.

The kitchen opens on to a stone patio, a multi-level historic garden, complete with a BBQ and fire pit. A new outdoor shower has been added for the 2023 season.

Parking is limited to 3 vehicles.

Luxury Beekman toiletries will be provided.

Well behaved and closely supervised children welcome.

Rentals during the Summer are Saturday to Saturday.

We do not have a pool - VRBO is having difficulty removing this reference from our listing.

We loved our stay in this beautifully decorated and comfortable home. It was perfect for our family with highschool and college-age kids- everyone had more than enough space and their own bathroom. The neighborhood was great for going on morning walks to the beach. And a short drive to the Fishing Pier and Chatham Bars Inn and Main Street. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The hosts were wonderful too.

Great location

From the moment we set foot in the door of this spectacular home we felt our shoulders relax . The house is in the perfect location to the town and a few local beaches . We road our bikes daily and walked the neighborhood in the evening or early morning. The food suggestions from Tom were very helpful! Plenty of room in each bedroom and a stocked kitchen. We had s’mores in the backyard with the kids and family dinners at the large table in the backyard also. Do not hesitate to book this house . Thank you Tom .

BEST WEEK EVER

Tom’s home is the quintessential Cape Vacation home. The location is superb. The attention to detail in the home and the finishes, the function, the conveniences and the plentiful amenities cannot be topped. The mattresses and bed linens are that of a 5-star resort. The kitchen is beautifully equipped for making any type of involved gourmet meal. The outdoor space is cozy and beyond private. If you want close proximity to amazing beaches, sound sleeps in beautiful centrally air- Conditioned rooms, s’mores by the fire pit and so much more - then RUN do not walk to Lucy ‘s cottage ( which by the way is not a cottage at all)! Thank you Tom for a vacation to remember.

Great homeowner who went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. I've rented on the cape for 20+ years and rate Tom as best in class. He genuinely cared about our rental experience. The property and house were well maintained and very clean. The location is perfect and everything we needed to enjoy our vacation was in the house from all the pots and pans you can imagine, to beach chairs and umbrellas.

Absolutely perfect in every aspect. The home is just beautiful with the highest quality furniture, appliances, amenities, etc. The attention to detail is incredible. The location is perfect with beautiful ocean views on clear days and a very short walk to the town landing. It is a very short drive to Hardings Beach, Lighthouse Beach, and the downtown area. I can’t say enough about this place. We hope to come back every summer for years to come.
