« I absolutely love this hotel bc my daughter loves the pool and it’s very affordable. They are dog friendly (I have a service dog but I like it’s dog friendly) in general. The staff is very nice and the only downfall is the restaurant that’s in there as you walk in doesn’t have a kids menu and their food isn’t great and it’s expensive! But the ice cream shakes are good…but that’s my only compliment on that particular place to eat. »

« The staff was not helpful. There was one guy who was helpful but not overly friendly. They were more worried about who quit and gossiping in front of customers versus making sure the free breakfast was stocked. The overall Custer service was a major disappointment. If it weren’t for that it would have been a nice stay. Great location in Waverly and lots of things to do within walking distance. Easy parking. »

« better comp breakfast than most places. Very clean facilities. Staff was friendly, I wish they had a hot tub but the indoor pool was heated so at least the water was not cold. I Have stayed here multiple times. »

« We found ants everywhere, including in the beds. The price of the hotel was alot more expensive than most places. We had a room with 3 beds and that was nice. »

« My son and I stayed 6 nights in an accessible room. The website mentions that you have to request housekeeping during longer stays, but even when we did, we found the service a bit unpredictable. There was no niche or shelf for toiletries in the shower, which was inconvenient. Of the five staff members I spoke to during the visit, only one graced us with a smile while we were there. The breakfast was ok, but only one day offered scrambled eggs and sausage; the biscuits and gravy on the other...

« The hotel was recently refurbished, the rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay there again. »

« Hotel Julien is showing signs of age. What was probably a lovely, boutique hotel now looks and feels tired and worn out. Staff were pleasant, rooms spacious and the location was great, but our room wasn't very clean, and the beds/bedding all needs a refresh. »

« The only critique I have is the pillows. I am a bit picky about the pillows at hotels but every thing else was good!! I like more flat firm pillows and they either to plush or too smooshie… breakfast was good. Wish for more topping options for yogurt and eggs »
