Hotel was a filthy dump. Service was God awful. Ola at the towel hut thinks she's chief of homeland security, and just down right rude. As was Janelke at the front desk. This establishment is so severely lacking in customer service, cleanliness, and over all congenial attitude, I honestly do not know how anyone comes back. The NY Breakfast Buffet was horrendous- waffles, French toast and pancakes as well as scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes were listed as buffet items. None were to be found. After asking about them for over 1/2 hour, they finally had to go t the kitchen to order them. This buffet cost us $1700 plus gratuity for our party, and it was horrible. We were the only ones there which was indeed worrisome in the first place.
We never received enough bath towels for our 3 BR unit, no water. We spent a small fortune at this establishment only to be begging for towels for the bath, as well as the beach. The card system is beyond ridiculous. Will be heading back to Marriott for sure. I do not know how anyone ever returns to this hotel. Plus it's off the beach, Sure- there's a shuttle- my husband - just recovering from knee surgery - was told to wait 25-45 minutes- meanwhile the driver and shuttle were both right there.
If I could give this property 0 or negative rating, I would.
Save your money, stay somewhere else on the beach. Even the holiday Inn had better customer service that this place- and we weren't even guests there. Never, ever, again.
