'vriendelijk personeel op wandel afstand van de meeste grote attracties in nikko. eerste ryokan bezoek dus ik kan niet vergelijken maar het personeel was zeer duidelijk over de regels en de verwachtingen waren. Ook zeer goed eten gehad met de keuze van welke vis je wou. Voor een eerste ryokan bezoek was dit perfect '

'Tourist IG trap. Feels nothing like Japanese. Very much an American ran hotel that pretends to be Japanese. Food both breakfast and dinner very westernized Japanese food and don’t taste good. Everything is designed to look good for a camera but no substance. My shoes were very dirty from a hike. Staff informed us they shoe cleaning service for free. Turns out just tapping the shoe. I went to front desk and ask if I can pay for a proper shoe clean. Staff was confident they have this service but...

'Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel provided a free shuttle service to and from the property, which made getting around very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the mountains that made the stay even more special. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we’d happily stay here again.'

'山奥なので辿り着くまで若干不安になることもありましたが、国民宿舎から改装された建物は部屋も綺麗でとても過ごしやすかったです。 食事も豪華で美味しくいただけましたし、何より温泉が良かったです。 ただ、脱衣所のロッカーを使うのに100円玉が必要(使用後は返却)なのを知らずに手ぶらで行ったため、部屋に取りに戻りました。最近あまり見かけなくなったこともあり、チェックインの際に説明が欲しかったです。'

'露天風呂に入浴中、外側から猿がみていたのにビックリ！ 日光の猿だから、いいこともあるような… 温泉は、濃いグリーン。最高でした。 スタッフの話では、湯の花は、パイプが詰まるので、あえて除去している事、また、湯元温泉の湧き出る源泉はグリーンであることを教えてもらいました。 不満な点があるとすれ、室内の冷蔵庫に冷凍室がなく外から買ってきた氷が保存できなかった事ぐらい。 値段もリーズナブルですし、お勧めです。'

'部屋は広くてとても綺麗でした。 夕食のビッフェは沢山種類があって特にカニ、ステーキ、すき焼き、果物は美味しいかったです。 残念な所は温泉施設が3ヶ所に分かれていたので移動が大変でした。 アメニティはとても充実してました。'

'Lovely small hotel in an absolutely beautiful part of Japan. The service was top-notch and the view from the room unmatched. The natural sulfur onsen was lovely and refreshing. Included dinner is tasty enough, but maybe not for the experienced Japan traveler - it assumes a very low level of knowledge of Japanese culture, so it feels a little bit 'novelty'. The breakfast is buffet-style which is not my favourite. Had a good stay here.'
