Située dans le triangle Nice-Grasse-Cannes, entre Saint-Paul et Vence, la propriété est toutefois à 2 km du village médiéval de Tourrettes, pourvu de tous commerces et boutiques, marché le mercredi, terrains de boules, navettes gratuites.
Les villes voisines de Vence et Cagnes-sur-mer sont dotées d'un terroir gourmet familial attractif.

This house, the landscape, the garden, it grows on you, till the moment it feels as if we have owned the place for years. In this crowded area, to have a view where you don't see any other houses, it is very rare, but at Le Mazet it is just the case. You have the best spot in the whole region. We walked to the village, played ping pong, enjoyed the swimmingpool. My husband made many confitures and also dried peppers & tomatoes...

- Nous avons tenu parole et sommes revenus au Mazet. Ce qui était vrai en Octobre dernier l'est tout autant aujourd'hui. Celà fut merveilleux!!! Et comme alors notre voeu le plus cher est d'y revenir pour de nouvelles découvertes.(Francis et Marie-Claire-Septembre 2016)

Mazet is a very comfortable, well-presented converted farmhouse in beautiful grounds, on a very quiet road. Totally secluded, but the coast is only 20 mins away, and a 10 minute walk on a footpath takes you to the medieval walled town of Tourrettes. At night, you cannot see or hear anyone else.....
The web description is very accurate and fair, and the owner is delightful- she took enormous trouble to make sure everything was ok- it really felt like being lent a house, rather than renting it.
There are lots of sights locally- Vence, St Paul, Gourdon are all musts, but you can also go to the local beaches for the day (we would recommend the small sandy beach between Juan-Les-Pins and Cap D'Antibes), or pop into Nice in the evening (about 40 mins to the Cours Saleya), although we spent most nights outside chatting and waiting for the next mystery animal to arrive- tree frogs, wild boar, giant toads, owls, fireflies.. but nothing scary.
Inside the main house, nice furnishings, wi-fi worked as did everything else. The main upstairs bedroom is definitely superior to the other rooms, which are simple but ok.
I have never bothered to write a review before (hence the cliches) but its a great place- I would thoroughly recommend it
