Simon was very helpful from beginning to end. Communication was outstanding. Very relaxing, mostly sat on chairs looking at the view . Great base for surrounding area. Highly recommend.

Facilities , were good , need a little TLC on bathroom , shower is inadequate , takes 7 min to heat up . If someone uses the tap , another 7 min . Takes 20 min to run a bath . Could do with a toilet downstairs , underneath the stairs , as being so long waiting for hot water . kitchen , could do with the broken fridge being fixedDoors, have a mind of the own unless they are shut tight . Fire, ventilation needs fixing . Suggested a little tv in each room . Thank you

Elevated but right on the seafront with a few steps down to the beach. Comfortable property which we loved. There is a garage for the car, but ours was a little big so had to park on the street. Plenty of places to visit nearby. We had a takeaway on night and they deliver to the back door. Loved our stay, and wouldnā€™t hesitate to recommend.

We had a great time here. Such a sweet and peaceful spot. We had the beach all to ourselves most days and the beach house was much cozier than other places we have stayed. Morning views were amazing and the place was full of everything we needed. Owners were super responsive. All around a great adventure for us.

We really enjoyed our days by the sea and in this house and can highly recommend it! The house is well and carefully furnished (very nice bed linen), large windows with a beautiful view of the bay and seating outside in the garden. It is in a very quiet location in a relaxed environment. There is a lovely cafƩ within walking distance right by the bay. The house also offers plenty of space.

The location of the property was excellent with a stunning sea view. The house was large and had everything we required. The property was listed as a non smoking residence but the porch and hallway had a distinct smell of cigarette smoke which was very off putting. But overall a very pleasant stay and a bonus was the weather.

Wonderful vacation home, fully equipped and in a great location. Right on the beach, just a few steps to the long promenade of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, a small town with all the essentials (restaurants, pubs, small supermarket). Newcastle upon Tyne can be reached by car in 30 minutes and is definitely worth a visit. Check in and check out were excellent.

Haus in erster Reihe mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht inkl. Garage fĆ¼r kleine Autos. Newbiggin ist ein kleiner, ruhiger Ort, der jedoch ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Es fehlt der Flair eines Urlaubsortes z.B. im Vergleich zu Cornwall. Wer jedoch Ruhe sucht ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, clean house with a superb of the bay. Everything we could wish for was provided and weather, although mixed did not affect our enjoyment. Highlight was seeing four dolphins frolicking in the bay but sadly only on one evening.

We all had a wonderful stay at Bay View. The photos of the view out of the house overlooking the bay donā€™t really do it justice. Every time I walked into the living room it was a wow moment! The house is lovely, super clean & spacious too. All the utensils, essentials & a lovely welcome pack were provided which was great. We had a very comfortable stay. It was so great for us to be so close to the promenade and beach. I have mobility problems ( I use a walking stick) but I managed to get down a fair number of steps from the house to the beach several times a day. ( I was having a good week) . The host Simon was lovely too, he was very quick to respond to questions. Great Guy! We were lucky to see a full strawberry moon over the bay ā€¦.it was spectacular! On our last day we saw dolphins in the bay outside from the living room window ā€¦.what a special treat & memory to take home! New Biggin as a location surpassed our expectations. The area is lovely. The locals and neighbours were super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again. Thank you so much Simon for letting us stay at your very special property. Sharn
