'We got a complimentary upgrade upon arrival which was lovely. The downstairs rooms have a back door that leads to the gorgeous pool area. The room was clean and comfortabel and the staff was lovely and accommodating. And breakfast was great: there are various options to choose from, cooked or not. We only walked around a little, the center isn't very big, but we walked to the beach (approx. 15 minute walk) and it was beautiful there'

'Do not book the Studio room! Upgrade to the Villa or don’t stay here. The Studio rooms are barely bigger than a prison cell and are nowhere near 5 star hotel quality. The property is neat and the staff are so nice. Just don’t book the Studio rooms. '

'the location is good but the condition of the place was poor, major renovations and very noisy at night, it’s essentially a youth hostel so full of young people coming and going down the halls at all hours of the night. '

'Room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Only downside was that there were no pots, pans etc. supplied with the kitchenette… this meant we couldn’t use it as planned and would have probably booked a cheaper room elsewhere without these features if we had known. There were some snacks drinks etc. in the room but they were quite expensive so didn’t use these. There is a Cole’s around the corner. Shame the hotel felt the need to charge crazy prices for what would have been a nice treat....

'The hostel is relatively new and has a large open air shared space, a large shared kitchen which is kept very clean. The room was fine. The bunk beds are cheap, you can feel your downstairs neighbor move. The mattress had seen better days, it is thin and mine was so slept in it came with a clear impression of where other people slept. The bathroom and toilets are okay, but are not cleaned daily. '

'Prima accomodatie op loopafstand van het strand. Helaas veel (jonge) luidruchtige mensen in plaatsje én accomodatie. Er is een boete in hotel voor geluidoverlast maar er wordt niet gehandhaaft. '

'What a find. Quiet secluded luxury property comprising originally two houses, now a high end function venue. Beautifully kept grounds and interiors. Great amenities and nice pool area. 12 mins drive from B Bay. Top marks.'

'Choosing to stay here you need to keep in mind that it is a 2 star hostel so you can't expect bells and whistles. You have to manage your expectations. That being said me and my partner found this to be the perfect base for our Byron Bay stay. We stayed in a private cube double room and to be honest it's everything we needed. We've stayed in 5 star hotels before and I can honestly say the bed in this hostel was one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in! We had a fridge to store food and drink...
