With gorgeous views of Smith Creek, this spacious log home provides picturesque views of the creek from every room (Note Smith Creek is a wet weather creek). In the evening, guests may relax under the stars in a private hot tub just outside the back door. With 2 bedrooms,1 bath Clearwater Log Home will sleep 4 comfortably. Clearwater is located only minutes from the Wimberley town square but offers the seclusion of your own private hill country escape.

Guests will find Clearwater Log Cabin warm and inviting with rustic hill country décor. This log home offers all the amenities one could wish for or need for a family getaway. Enjoy the beautiful knotty pine ceiling, stately limestone rock wood burning fireplace, hardwood flooring and a fully stocked kitchen with everything one needs to prepare favorite meals. Cozy up on the sofa and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen television or enjoy a romantic evening by the fireplace. Shower in a full bath with a large vanity. Sleep soundly in the master bedroom that hosts a comfy king size bed with lovely linens. Guests will find the second bedroom offers a queen bed with comfortable linens.

Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon. Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park also are filled with lots of excitement. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay this adorable cabin. Everything in the house was so well thought out. The rooms were cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the living area was comfortable. We watched beautiful sunsets from the porch and did lots of stargazing from the hot tub. The space was very clean and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom and kitchen. We definitely would stay here again.
Very welcoming as soon as you walk in.

The cabin was really nice. We stayed in the identical cabin next door before and the layout of both are great. The ad said it included a washer and dryer to do laundry, but it didn’t. The property manager was really nice and even refunded a portion of our rental fee for the inconvenience.

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our anniversary, and it was exactly what we needed quiet, private, and relaxing. Even though there’s another cabin on the property, it’s far enough away that it still feels secluded and no one bothered us. The property is beautiful, and even though the creek was dry, we still enjoyed the sunsets and scenery.A few tips for future guests:•Jacuzzi: Leave it on as soon as you arrive if you plan to use it. It can take until the next day to fully heat up. Jacuzzi was clean•Kitchen: It has the basics but if you plan on cooking, bring your favorite pan, seasonings, and extra utensils. The coffee maker uses ground coffee, not pods. Filters were available during our stay but bring some just in case.The cabin was very clean, and while you may see a few critters, that’s just part of being in the woods. Communication with the host was excellent.Our only real complaint was the TV. It’s outdated and kept turning off or taking several tries to power on. We wanted to watch the Cowboys game and eventually made it work, but it took some effort. A TV upgrade would make a big difference.The location is great close to Wimberley, HEB, restaurants, and shops, yet still feels tucked away. It can be tricky to find, so follow the longitude and latitude instructions in the reservation and you’ll get right to it.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return. We’re even considering renting both cabins next time and bringing family.

Very Nice Cabin , the secluded hot tub was a nice touch and relaxing. We were looking for a quiet place to stay close to town with a hot tub and it’s exactly what we wanted. Also the water filter spout in the kitchen was a very nice added detail and appreciated . I would say use the Google map link to get here

Lovely Little Getaway!

My friend and I really enjoyed our state at this lovely cabin. We were a little sad when we saw the state of the creek due to some recent heavy rains, but we still spent most of our time on the large back porch, watching and listening to all the nature sounds. We had a minor issue with a lock on the master bedroom's door, but the host had someone come by as soon as possible to fix it, so we can't complain there! I will say that the plumbing can be a bit noisy, as every once in a while we'd flush the toilet and hear this really high-pitched ringing sound. The sound was temporary and after a while we sort of made a game out of it, trying to match the tone, haha. I also took part in the hot tub once during our stay and it was really nice. And I love that we didn't have to drive far at all to get to Wimberly Square for shopping!Anyway, we both agreed the place had SO much character and was the perfect way to escape the city for a few days!

The location and cabin were great. A little rustic. Kitchen doesn't have a lot of basic needs and the toilet would give a high pitched squeal d/t a bad seal. Overall it's a nice place!

Lovely property

The property was as described. It very comfortable and private. A few notes: -we arrived to find 2 large garbage bags full of trash by the bbq; I had to walk them up to the bins myself. I wasn’t pleased about this-kitchen was lacking a few items. There are no oven mitts or spatula (for flipping pancakes)-hot tub is nice but temp too low (we adjusted to the max, but it was still low)-it would be helpful to know that the bbq requires charcoal (it’s not gas) before arriving. That would be good to note in the listing

Home was a little bit dirty. Cobwebs and grounds not too clean. Also kitchen was old furniture with sticky drawers. Noise from the road was a bummer. Did enjoy the water and birds however.
