Affordable oceanfront condo, amazing views, sunsets, beaches, pool in West Maui

Please support the Maui economy and the people here by continuing to visit this beautiful island. We are in Kahana, seven miles north of the town of Lahaina. Our property was not affected in any way by the Aug. 8, 2023, wildfires in Lahaina town. Mahalo.

Kahana Reef is the hidden gem of Maui. A place where you can enjoy the best views, central location and a quiet, peaceful and relaxing experience at a price you can afford. This unit has just been remodeled and is located in the prized middle building, with nothing but ocean and the islands of Molokai and Lanai out front -- except for the whales and turtles you'll see from your lanai.

The condo features a king-size bed in the bedroom with memory foam; queen sleeper in the LR; stainless appliances, a refrigerator with icemaker, new cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen; all new fixtures in the bathroom; new slate for the lanai; new lighting fixtures; free wi-fi; flat-screen TVs in the LR and BR; and easy access to the communal pool and adjacent beaches.

You're 10 minutes from dining, shopping, golf and world-class beaches in Kaanapali; 5 minutes from one of the world's best beaches, Napili Bay; 15 minutes from the unique town and historic whaling village of Lahaina. Fishing, whale watching, surfing, stand-up paddling, kayaking and snorkeling are all close by.

There are five world class golf courses within a couple of miles, including the Plantation Course at Kapalua, the home of the Hyundai Championship. The Kapalua Tennis Gardens also are nearby and available for play.

We have gas outdoor grills for guests; free parking; a laundromat steps away; and convenient shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

We supply the towels, dishes, utensils and the view. All you need to bring is your swimsuits, sunscreen, flip flops and sense of adventure. Then sit back, take in the view, soak up the aloha and enjoy the sunsets. It just doesn't get any better.

We loved our stay here. We could see whales from the lanai and saw turtles right by the seawall in front of the condo. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice having a code to get in the door, rather than needing a key. I’m always afraid on the first floor that I’ll hear footsteps above but we never did. The place is obviously built well. We wish we could stay here for a month, rather than just a week.

The patio view of the ocean was superb. Very well-kept property and clean unit, with thoughtful additions like deck chairs, snorkel gear, beach mats and umbrella. The bbq was well-maintained and we cooked three evenings during the week. This place was a great find!

Peaceful stay at amazing location!

While the property was a bit dated, it absolutely delivered on location. Stunning views of the ocean, and a private little beach next door - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot to relax! Best of all - the building itself is pretty quiet. Just the sound of the ocean and birds - perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved the condo. We felt very much at home and spent every morning and late afternoon/evening relaxing on the lanai and enjoying the amazing views and sunsets.Even in April we saw whales several times. I am obsessed with the sea turtles that visit every day. So beautiful. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked many meals and enjoyed Oceanside eating on the lanai. We used the Bbq several times. It is well located to the beaches in West Maui and was our base for touring the beautiful island. You are very lucky to have such a wonderful slice of paradise. Amazing Oceanfront View

We spent a wonderful week at this property. The view was amazing. We saw sea turtles and whales everyday from the condo. Excellent location, quiet but still walking distance to a coffee shop and other amenities. The pool was a great temperature, nice and warm. Condo had many extras like beach chairs and umbrella which we used on our beach excursions. Overall a fantastic spot!

Wonderful

The location feels tucked away and private, even though it's close to everything. The view was mesmerizing. Having a beach literally 100 feet from the lanai was wonderful and it was especially nice to be able to swim there in winter- no rough waves. The pool was even closer, although I preferred the ocean. Don & Yolanda were very accommodating of my flight schedules, especially at the end of my stay and had a late flight out. I appreciated all they have done to make this a very comfortable home away from home.

We loved staying in this amazing rental. Rainbows and full moons in the morning. Turtles and soft breezes all day long. So quiet and relaxing. We have nothing but good memories. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back.

Absolutely wonderful

Everything about our stay was perfect. The location cannot be beat and the property itself is wonderful. We saw sea turtles every afternoon and enjoyed the near private beach adjacent to the building. The condo is clean, well maintained and stocked, the check in/out procedure easy, and the owners are a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back very soon!

Perfect

The view cannot be beat. Location is excellent, far enough away from the crowds of Kaanapali but close enough to have easy access to everything. Thoughtful touches like power bars and small kitchen appliances, well stocked. Nice accessible beach next door with turtles and monk seals coming up on the beach for a siesta. Lots of whale activity right out your patio door. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Waterfront condo!

I could not begin to express how much we enjoyed this condo. Spectacular ocean views. The lanai was great with a table for four. Sea turtles and whales everywhere. Kitchen was fully stocked with all our needs met. Mini air fryer was a hit. Bed in master was very comfortable. Enough towels for the week we stayed. Walking distance to a market and a few restaurants! We really had the best time. I love cooking and spotting for whales and turtles in the waves. It would have been great to have an EV charger on the property. Overall 5 out of 5 stars.

Enjoyed our stay in condo. Very clean with tropical decor. Great place to sit on lanai and gaze at ocean. The view is awesome. Except for sounds of ocean is quiet and away from crowds of Kanapaali. Kitchen Well stocked. Have portable AC in living area but never needed it. Nice ocean breeze with doors open and ceiling fans.
