« Great cottage steps from the beach. Location was perfect! Size was perfect for our family of 4. More than enough space inside cottage and great front porch and back porch with dining table. Very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. Some things could have made the stay easier/better: not providing linens means a lot of extra things to pack; beds not the most comfortable; no curtains so bedrooms get very bright very early (not great for the littles). »

« Despite Hurricane Debbie tagging along for most of our Nags Head vacation, we had a great stay at "Down South." Laurie was a fantastic host. Extremely helpful and thoughtful. The house and deck were actually more spacious than I was expecting, and easy to settle in to. Gorgeous views from the back deck, and as other visitors have mentioned, accessing the beach is really convenient. « 4pm is too late for check-in. Most people are driving and go directly to the property. I arrived at 3:30 and had to try to contact them so we could get in to use the restrooms. All of the voicemails were full and initially we gave up and left to find restrooms. I guess I could have tried to get an early check-in. Not a deal breaker though. Nice place and great location. Pool was clean. »

« A quaint cottage with all wood interior. All the basics you need. Nice and clean! Could use some maintenance paint ,screens on front door and back door. Some landscaping maintenance in back would be nice. We had a great relaxing visit. The owners and management were so kind and responsive. »

« Upon arrival no issues getting inside cottage. It was neat and clean no fur baby smell. The kitchen well stocked with whatever you needed. Living room furniture and bed very comfortable. Screen porch was nice especially in the evenings. Easy access to beach. « The cottage was very nice and well equipped! Easy to find in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house has been updated since the photos were taken and it is very nice! The back deck view is covered by a lot of trees so you cannot see the golf course any more. Perfect for a quick trip to OBX! »

« Overall a good place to stay. There were a couple issues which had been taken care of but one. Took a couple days to get to us. Place was not that clean bedrooms were bathrooms somewhat and kitchen not so clean when we got there place ciuld use a good clean dusting lights and ceiling fans cleaning cabinets and outside of appliances »

« We came after Labor Day. The owner was fantastic and communicated with me before, during and after our stay. Easy check in and out. I love that I did not have to bring bedding or towels. The restaurant behind us is perfect for breakfast every day which made me absolutely lazy and happy to not have to cook for myself. Delicious too. I will be back at this home again. »
