'This was a lovely home that served as our base for one night during a brief visit to Volcano National Park. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and other chirping critters at night. It was an easy drive to the entrance of the National Park. '

'The location was very close to activities in Hilo, and the host was very responsive and informative about restaurants and other amenities around the area. The house was clean and she even left little gifts for us ! Would recommend this cute house if you’re staying in Hilo for a few days. '

'All in all, a lovely stay in a peaceful setting. Bit strange description of the "grumpy neighbor"; we did not see him so no comments from our side. The house was clean and fully equipped. In the dark this house is difficult to find though. Hike to the lava cliffs is very nice though!'

'Our stay was amazing! The lush greenery and serenading Coqui frogs were a lovely touch. Plus, the space was super accommodating for our group of 7 adults - plenty of room to spread out and relax. Volcano National Park was just a 15-minute drive away, and everything else we expected was there too! We loved ending the evenings with a warm soak in the hot tub under the stars, followed by gathering around the outdoor fire pit. Best of all for us is the continuous ocean breeze that keeps the house forever comfortable. If it is warm when you arrive, just open the many windows and sliding glass doors (all screened). 'The home was perfect - exactly as described and better than expected! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and everything we needed to clean up as well. There was even a cooler available for us to bring a packed lunch into the national park! It really felt like home, not just a sterile rental. The beds were incredibly comfortable - we all slept so well in the cool weather and appreciated the cozy bedding. Mahalo for your hospitality!'
