'My husband and I have stayed at this resort a number of times and usually have no issues. However this time I had bad experience. I used the hot tub on the first day we were there for less than a hour and by the next day my bathing suit went from black to brown. I told the receptionist and she just shrugged her shoulders. Disappointed in this response.'

We chose Stone Gate Inn because it wasn't a national chain and it had an 8.4 review average. We prefer to support small businesses. I don't know how long the current Stone Gate owners have had the property, and they're clearly working on it, but they really need to be transparent in how they market the facility in their online presence. 'Prima accommodatie aan de buitenrand van de stad. Het geheel is goed verzorgd. Heel fijn dat de bedden een topdekmatras hebben. We waren ook blij met een ontbijt dat meer was dan alleen maar ongezonde, snelle suikers en er een beetje een gezonde keuze was.'

'We loved the pool and the easy access to the water toys like kayaks and paddle boards. They supplied the life jackets which was helpful and supplied all the linens, towels and even provided soap and shampoo. It is a beautiful firepit and nice sandy volleyball pit. There isn’t swimming off the dock, as the water is full of reeds but the water is clean and lots of opportunities to go out into deeper water to swim. We loved it!'

'We picked this property because it was near enough to a festival / concert my partner and I were attending in the area and the hotel seemed to offer a considerable value for the reasonable room rate. Upon arrival, we understood why the rate was attractive -- the property appeared to have been largely neglected, at least in terms of the grounds and gardening. 'I have stayed at this property several times. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. The staff are friendly and super helpful. They gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and local activities/events that were happening during our stay, The breakfast is great - a full hot breakfast with many options to choose from. The location is ideal - close to the highway and plenty of shopping nearby.'
