'Fijne kamer, uitstekend ontbijt, aanrader.'

'Nette wel wat oudere kamer maar schoon. Airco werkte niet of onvoldoende. `We hebben dit aangegeven en de airco was niet berekend op de huidige temperaturen . Dat was in de nacht wel minder prettig ook omdat de ramen maar beperkt open kunnen. Wel een heel goed verzorgt ontbijt in een sfeervolle ontbijtzaal.'

'Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.'

'Lodge was beautiful in a very quiet secluded wooded area. It was well equipped with everything you need. Hot tub, BBQ and seating area lovely. Very comfortable bed and kitchen had everything you need. Really great stay.'

'The moment you walked in the door, you were greeted with an excellent welcome. The room was fabulous, and spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Food and service , both in the evening and at breakfast was excellent too. Would thoroughly recommend.'

'Mooie familiekamer voor gezin met twee kinderen voor nette prijs. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk ontbijt! '

'Very friendly staff'

'Lekker in het centrum van gelegen. Winkels en alles op loopafstand. Goe ontbijt, wel wat druk op het moment dat wij er waren maar prima verzorgt. We rekening houden dat je het niet met de auto kan bereiken en dat je elders moet parkeren.'

'Staff lovely and v accommodating'

'Despite an excellent location just next to the entrance to the cathedral, this hotel is another of those run-down, bleak firetraps from way back in the last century. You know it's old as soon as you climb the narrow stairs to the tiny reception area and notice the grimy carpet and chipped woodwork. Getting to your room involves climbing meandering stairs that go one way, up another short flight of stairs, and then still in another direction. (There is no lift.) My room had a nice bed but little...

'The White Horse Inn is an attractive hotel in a convenient location, with the added benefit of ample free parking. Sadly, however, the hospitality did not match the charm of the property. Hotels of this kind usually stand out because of their warm, personal welcome. Here, the opposite was true. The reception was reserved and unwelcoming, and communication was kept to the bare minimum. Sunday lunch was the highlight of my stay: fresh, flavoursome and very enjoyable. As a result, and having read...

'Unique was : it is a very old building, it has a very nice host, it is near the shops, there is a beautiful garden, free parking, great breakfast....etc etc...This was our second visit...and we will be back again and again!'
