'We really loved our stay at Ledges Retreat, the surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. Royal Natal is really closeby to go for a hike. The room was nicely decorated and modern with a big bathroom. Everyone was really friendly and the dogs were a bonus ;-) Definitely one of our favourite places during our 3 week trip!'

'We stayed in a honeymoon suite and the views were simply amazing. Jock the Bushbock visited us on a daily basis. It's quite a walk to the restaurant but with an excellent full board, you'll need the exercise anyway. Staying and hiking in a world heritage location and its beatiful surrounding nature made our short 3 nights stay perfect. Take the locally provided helicopter tour (40 minutes with sparkling wine) and you will appreciate the majestic character of this beautiful region, it's really...

'Reception staff were hospitable and pleasant. Restaurant staff seemed to lack hospitality training and were not customer focused, preferring to look at their phones and told us to get our own wine from the bar. Our room smelt musty but was OK when windows & doors were open. A tea bag and milk would have been appreciated. Room itself was large and comfortable and the scenery was stunning.'
