'Great location and the space itself has potential, but the experience with the host and the condition of the unit was disappointing. The host did not respond to any messages before or during our stay when we tried to address several concerns. At one point, a man entered the space unannounced saying he was there to fix the smoke alarm, which was concerning since we had not been notified. 'Host was welcoming & amenities mostly in good condition. I would recommend the following improvements for next guests: fix shower tap hanging off wall, provide more towels & they should be bigger & thicker. Provide faceclothes and more than 1 drying cloth & dish cloth. Provide fitted sheets that actually fit the pull out sofa & perhaps upgrade the sofa mattress to be thicker. We were a couple of minutes from the street festival which had great food, clothes, jewelry, thrifting stores, music etc. We were also fairly close to the big dance clubs, but also smaller bars with music.
