1. How far is the houseboat from Amsterdam? Monnickendam Marina is about 12 km (7.5 miles) from Amsterdam. The express bus (EBS) takes you to Amsterdam Central Station in just 15-20 minutes. Buses run very frequently, even late at night.

2. Can I drive the houseboat? No, the houseboat is stationary and remains at its berth in the marina. This allows for more interior space and comfort, but self-driving is not possible.

3. Where can I park my car? Parking is free of charge on the secure grounds of the marina, right next to the boat. A great way to avoid the high parking fees in Amsterdam!

4. Is it cold on the boat during winter? Not at all. The houseboat is fully insulated and equipped with a high-quality heating system, keeping it cozy and warm all year round.
