I do not believe the positive reviews for this particular property/unit. We walked in the door and found water in the kitchen and down the hall. The first thing that we had to do was to clean it up. The condo had a very musty smell as well. There was apparent water damage on all of the baseboards. There was mold in the master bathroom. There were multiple issues with broken handles, sink water stops, etc. The bed in the master bedroom was so soft and worn out that I had to sleep on the floor on a small mattress from a rollaway bed all four nights! My back is wasted due to it. My wife called it a marshmellow bed, and that is being generous. The queen bed in the guest room was not much better. The furniture in the living room is old and stained, just short of gross. When sitting down on the living room couch, you fall into a hole, so sitting and being comfortable is rather difficult. The ice maker made noise all night, every night. Every time that people upstairs flushed the toilet, it was so loud that it sounded like the water was coming directly into our unit. We went to use the jacuzzi, and it was full of dozens of dead black flies, so needless to say, we passed on that. We certainly expected better from a VRBO unit. We will not be back.
