Another great stay at Sandestin
Overall the stay was great as usual. Plenty of room for the ten of us (2 oldies and 8 between the ages of 18-23). Parking at the house a little inconvenient because itâs only wide enough for one vehicle but long enough for 2 so had to sometimes move a vehicle to get the other out. Nitpicking I know! The two golf carts were great for getting around. Having the pool right across the street was nice. The only problem we had was with the grill. We were doing a seafood boil one night but gonna cook some chicken for someone that doesnât eat seafood. I started the grill and went in to do some things while it heated up. When I came back out it was engulfed in flames because it caught the grease and stuff in the bottom of the grill on fire. I had to use the fire extinguisher to put it out. This is the second time this has happened at a unit weâve stayed at. The cleaning crews need to do a better job of cleaning these out between people staying. That being said, I called and reported this and they brought out a new extinguisher the next day. Overall an excellent time and we would return again.
