« A lovely cottage at a gorgeous, quiet property, full of nostalgia from when we stayed there as kids. Lake Rosseau is as charming as ever, and the view from the balcony is wonderful. Chalet Spruce is nearly perfect to host two families with kids. The only detractor is the lack of a queen bed for a second adult couple. « STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE: House was dirty, refrigerator dirty, oven filthy, after 9:00 we tried to go to bed NO SHEETS ON THE BED. Check in was late by 2 1/2 hours. We were promised a refund by the owner, if we left. We left. Now he’s refusing the refund. Stay away from this place. »

« My first impression was WOW!!!! Everything was just as is in the pictures. This was a very family friendly accommodation. There were games, toys, and the kid's bathroom had the whale over the spout. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils, silverware and more. There was a whole spice drawer. « We recently stayed at this cottage outside of Gravenhurst, and it was by far the worst vacation rental we have ever experienced. The property was not just dated—it was filthy and appeared to have been neglected. Upon arrival, there were no kitchen cloths, no paper towels, and only a 2 half rolls of toilet paper with no extras provided. The cottage smelled strongly of cigarette smoke mixed with mould.
