« This is kind of like staying in a cabin. It is rustic. Very cleanfor an old building. If you look at the pictures it is what it is along with the price. The biggest draw back for us is it reeks from smoke. Whether it's from long time smokers living there or people who live downstairs, I don't know. They don't allow smoking now but it really needs an ozone machine. I hate writing a bad review but you need to look closely at the pictures. « The property was stunning and very nice kayaks. The lake was gorgeous for kayaking and it was nice to be able to walk to get dinner etc right in Long. The staff were very accommodating and friendly! »

« First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure! »

« Camp Twosome was the perfect place to spend a few rainy days with spots of sunshine in the adirondacks. The view out the large windows was delightful, wonderfully framing the fall colors cascading over the mountains. Along with the view was a wonderful feeling of seclusion with the convenience of a fairly short drive into town when you need groceries or to stop at Cafe Sarah for drinks and a macaroon. The host was delightfully helpful when we stopped in to ask a quick question, and the hot tub...

« This spot was ideal for us. Beauty, privacy, quiet, comfort. We used it as a base camp for exploring the Adirondacks. Felt remote but nearby North Creek had everything we needed. We had glorious weather and were outside most of the time, but the cabin was big enough for reading and playing games if we had needed to be inside more. »
