The host was welcoming and the overall accommodations were wonderful. We did encounter some issues that made the beginning of the stay difficult. A dish washer had malfunctioned and water which had become rancid was standing in the dishwater. Fortunately, there was a shop vacuum in the garage and we were able to vacuum out the water and finally get the smell out of the house. There was some garbage left in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms commodes was left unclean. Also, grease had accumulated on top of the stove and needed to be cleaned before we could safely use it. The jets in the jacuzzi tub did not function. We have received a 200.00 refund off our bill. 99The other amenities worked fine and the location and views were great. Wonderful porches. The house was large enough to accommodate our extended family of 9 adults and we thoroughly enjoyed the location and our time there once we finished the initial cleaning.

This property is gorgeous - large, yet cozy - and it accommodated my entire group nicely. The decor was perfect for what we were looking for & the view was spectacular.The cooking amenities are great - we brought a crock pot b/c we didn’t see that listed, but…they even had those! The game room in the basement was sooo fun!Rhonda, our host, was extremely understanding whenever we had questions & usually very quick to respond!We LOVED our stay & plan to come back!!

What am amazing Labor Day Weekend at this magical house!! The house was spacious for our multigenerational family trip - we had young kids, teens and about 12 adults - there was plenty of room and it was enjoyable for everyone. A few things to note (but not at all issues or negatives) - the walk to the creek/pool is short but it is very steep. We had to drive the young kids and older adults - not at all an issu, just something to be aware of. The house is also "lived in" - we actually love this b/c it feels like you are stayingwith friends/family vs. a sterile rental. The views of the river are spectacular. There is lots of outside seating. The kitchen is wonderful - we had all of our meals at the house and there was plenty of fridge space in the multiple fridges. The pool and pool area was so fun for the adults and kids! We also loved fishing and doing smores in the pool area. We got rained on and it was actually so wonderful listening to the rain and hanging out in the gazebo. There was so much for the kids to do with the arcade machine, video games, pool and air hockey. We can't wait to come back!!

We loved the house! My nine grandkids, ranging in age from 9 to 15, had a wonderful week. Kitchen needed a little bit of organizing and deep cleaning of some of the pots and pans. The griddle on the stove needed some “elbow grease.” But overall, we loved it.Owner should check some of the door screens for repair. Not complaining, just informing.Also, we found dirty towels in the storage unit at the foot of the bed. So thankful that the pool got cleaned so that we could use it for most of the week.

Good our party’s ages ranged from four years old to 76 years old and there was something for everyone to love. The activities in the basement were perfect in case of bad weather, the bedrooms accommodated everyone, and the pool and outside kitchen was a useful bonus.

We had a great stay at Riverview Lodge! The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for a big group. There was plenty of room to spread out, but also lots of cozy spots to relax together.The kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool area was a huge bonus. The poolside gazebo with a kitchenette and bathroom was super convenient. The walk back up to the house is a little steep, but nothing a quick water break couldn’t fix!Everything was clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. We’d definitely come back!

Fantastic House!

This home is fantastic! The photos and description is spot on. Easy to get to but also off the beaten path. We had a large group to celebrate a 50th birthday. At one point 10 adults and 4 teenagers. We never felt crowded. Everyone had their own space. The basement was perfect for the teenagers. We never once heard “I’m bored “ and the only time we actually saw them was when they came upstairs for food. Check-in and checkout was super easy and our host, Rhonda, was easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return during warmer weather to enjoy the pool and river!

Just Right

Just right doesn’t really capture how we all felt when we arrived. We quickly realized that the owners understood what made a trip for travelers beyond just right bordering perfection. We had zero issues and all the decoration, specialty items, and lovely touches throughout the home. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and being so responsive during our stay. Loved the pool area and giving that the temps were below our threshold to go for a swim, the beautiful fireplace made up for it.

Quiet Mountain Getaway

The house was beautiful and perched on a hill overlooking the water and mountains. Far enough out to be peaceful, but close enough to get to everything quickly. Perfect getaway for our family. Very well stocked with all the high quality amenities. Hope to visit again soon!!

Was in Murphy for our wedding and need a place for friends to stay . 7 couples… this house was perfect. Pool area was a added plus with wood burning fireplace. We spent our evenings down there roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, listening to music & dancing and watching the geese and ducks fly in and out. We loved it
