« The house was nice and big and only 10-15 minutes from Lassen Volcanic NP. The property is cool with a river running in the back, and it’s very peaceful! Only thing I would ask for is updated pots and pans because they were all non-stick that wasn’t nonstick anymore so cooking was kind of a pain! But other than that, no complaints with this property! »

« It was a nice place but I was told by the host to bring my garbage home since the garbage bin was 2/3 full when we arrived the place. The house was a little dusty, no face towels, and the worst part is that I have to do laundry. »

« This house was an incredible find. My kids absolutely loved staying in the upstairs rooms. Check in was a breeze! The hot tub was a huge hit for the whole family. I was also glad to see they had toys for babies because i completely forgot to bring the ones i had packed for my little guy. It was so much fun grilling out on the deck while the kids played in the hot tub. The central a/c workes way too good! We will absolutely be coming back! And there is a beautiful beach just a short drive down...

« Our stay was amazing. Our hosts were perfect. All the information was so clear. The house was SUPER clean. They thought of everything from karaoke to pool or ping pong. Plenty of board games too. The beds are excellent and so comfortable. The deck had plenty of seating and dining for our family. They haven’t missed a thing. All you need in the kitchen is there. The hosts also were accommodating of our dogs. We will be back! We loved our stay. Miss it already. Cannot thank them...

« Debbie and Dave were the most responsive hosts we have encountered during our many years of experience with vacation rentals. The property was comfortable, immaculate and so well stocked and equipped we thought we were home. The view from the, to say nothing about the sound of the water was simply wonderful and so peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for long walks and they even delivered a freshly laundered blanket for our pooch to sleep. Simply a wonderful stay that we hope to repeat. »

« Home is in a great spot to access the southern entrance to Lassen, just make sure the Lassen highway is open when you book. We were surprised to find the highway was still about half closed in the high elevations due to remnant snow still not cleared in mid-June. This meant less access to the park, but most annoyingly a 2 hour(!) drive to get to the North Entrance of the park. « We enjoyed our stay at Latitude 40. We were comfortable and close (less than 1 mile) to our venue. There were a number of choices for a place to eat, as well as a nearby grocery store. There were good kitchen facilities and adequate cooking supplies. The host had provided coffee and tea choices and 2 different coffee machines (including a Keurig for both coffee and tea). And the host provided a basket with a good selection of snacks. We would consider a return visit. »

« The property is located in a beautiful forested area. Martha, the owner, was an outstanding hostess. She was friendly and very helpful. The home cooked breakfasts were well prepared and delicious. The only issue we had was the GPS took us to the property through a back route that was longer and over gravel road. »
