The host was very nice and responsive, which I truly appreciated throughout the booking and stay. The location is fairly convenient to Anaheim attractions, but unfortunately, the home itself did not live up to the photos or price point.One of the biggest concerns was discovering that a business operates out of the garage â something not disclosed upfront. There were signs posted upon arrival, and although the host told VRBO the business would be halted during our stay, we heard movement, music, and activity throughout. It felt misleading and made us uncomfortable.The house seems to have been remodeled in a way that prioritizes the business over guest convenience. For example, thereâs no downstairs bathroom access â you have to use the one upstairs, which brings up another issue: poor ventilation. Any restroom use created a strong odor throughout the home, and the only way to manage it was by opening windows.There were also several maintenance and comfort issues:âąOne bed in the secondary bedroom was broken and awkwardly propped up by the door.âąCountertops were peeling and clearly need updating.âąWe received only one set of towels per adult for a 4-night stay, which wasnât enough.âąWhile snacks were provided as a nice touch, they were expired and stale.The exterior and neighborhood left a lot to be desired. The street had multiple abandoned vehicles and even a trailer full of trash nearby, which added to the feeling that the property was overpriced for the area.
